Bank accounts closed! Website shutdown! Facing allegations of having sex without a condom (originally thrown out)! Geez, there must be some really juicy stuff in these wikileak documents. Must be a lot of powerful people exposed here?
BRB the KKK have access to VISA, mastercard but wikileaks doesnt because they've ticked off the the fat old white haired blokes in washington
BRB the innocent until proven guilty goes flying out window as soon as free speech is uttered in truth.... the land of the free my ass
Ill finish with a classic US republican senator's quote in regards to Julian Assange:
"anything less than execution is too kind a penalty" .....i dont even. FOR WHAT??!!
BRB death penalty for dispersing documents leaked 'by someone else'.
BRB death penalty for unsubstantiated rape claims from a women he had relations with and apparently boned on an occasion without wearing a condom when she asked him...... you got to be fcking kidding me. Sounds like a crazy eyed ex-bish using the US vendetta as an excuse for grade A revenge to me.

lives in danger?? Where are these figures? Do you seriously think that if there was even one confirmed linked death that it wouldnt be grabbed and used as a magical wand of vindication.
And what about the daily loss of life due to a war iniated on the basis of al'qaeda and wmd's being in Iraq.... which were never found. Bush and co. should be up for fcking war crimes.
it smells so fcking wrong its a joke.... i cant even believe there are blokes who are eating up their bull**** without even looking into the context of this. The allegations are thread thin at best..... is it a complete coindence that they are coming at the same time as all the wikileak release's?Better to live one day a lion, then one hundred years as a sheep

Under Article III, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution, any person who "levies war against the United States or adheres to its enemies by giving them Aid and Comfort has committed treason within the meaning of the Constitution." Aid encompasses releasing classified information to enemies of the U.S., even if the releaser is not a U.S. citizen. Such an offender, during a time of war, is "guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States." His website getting shutdown and bank accounts frozen is the least of his worries.

I think Assange has the potential to be the most important person of the past century or ast least the most significant. If he gets these BS charges beat then it will be open season for every disillusioned person in government to start releasing classified information.
We could actually start living in a world of much more transparent government which will ultimately lead to greater democracy. I find it ironic that it's the Republicans and right wingers who cheer the loudest for his 'crimes' to be committed...despite the fact he fundamentally serves the core right wing ideology of smaller government.
Then again, right wingers never really put too much thought into their beliefs.

Michael Hayden, the Director of the CIA between 2006 and 2009, said: "We have a tremendous moral responsibility to our sources. Because of the nature of our work, your sources are literally putting their life in your hands."
I get what Assange is doing, but thinking he is any more righteous than the politicians he is apparently "fighting" is ridiculous. Assange is just in it for the fame and fortune. He doesn't give two ****s about the truth. Assange is the same guy that is blackmailing the government with a 'thermonuclear' file that can apparently do all sorts of damage to the world. What kind of crusader would want to put the world in such danger when he is so opposed to violence?11B US Army

but he is not the source of the leak. where do you draw the line? all my local media is republishing, which is all wikileaks has done. The initial leak is not wikileaks and as such, how are they accountable under that article?
Is it responsible, maybe not, but by law how can he be accountable for the original leak?Better to live one day a lion, then one hundred years as a sheep
