Thanks for the reply. I've had offers in the $1000-$1200 range, but my best offer from someone who could actually pick it up was $800. I was thinking I should be able to get at least a thousand for it, but maybe I'm wrong. It seems like the offers have been about in the right range, anyway.

yeah, unfortunately re-sale really isn't very good on equipment. sounds like your offers are all fair, just gotta lower your expectations a bit. SUL got one for $1K not that long ago. here's the post:

Brand new, I think Northern Lights sells a newer version of that bench for $388. $150 isn't too bad, but I'd feel better at $100, if that's what you're looking for. Northern Lights is a Canadian brand.

First really crazy stupid deal I've got in awhile....pretty good and the first Powertec Rack I've been able to lay my hands on. When I got there the guy threw in about 100lbs of standard plates and some spinlock db handles.

-powertec rack (older, but fantastic condition...almost new)
-Flat bench (not sure maker, but good quality)
-300lb Oly set and barbell
-Lifting Belt
-100lbs of std plates, std barbell, pair of spinlocks


$125 and he took it apart for me!

I figure out what the white benches are.....now its a question of whether I should get one. The white benches are made by Pace. They are called a bicep/tricep bench. Its list price on the Pace site is $2495. Specs state: 11ga steel, oil impregrnated bushings, 3 yr warranty on cylinders, 6 position dual action hydraulic cyliders.

i have one and it doesn't look like that. Keys fitness and body motion have similar smith machines with the gun rack but the floor plate is raised unlike this one. If it is linear bearings then I would say $500 is a decent deal.
