Need to out my Coke Zero but with what?

I drink a lot of Coke Zero or anything that had soda, mostly diet soda. I have red about you can't loss as much weight when drinking diet soda even though there is no calories because of the sugar. I do drink water but I don't want to drink water all the time and enough drinking soda. Is there any other drink I can start drinking that is not soda. I do drink the low calorie G2 that Gatorade but don't think thats good for you all the time too.

I drink Coke Zero all the time I've had no problems on any of my cuts.
Diet is at least 80% of the game and no workout routine will compensate for a crap diet. T

Coke Zero = Has no calories.
    G2 = Has calories.

    Think about it.

thats a lie, if you are struggling with weightloss, you can still have your coke zero. just make sure you drink at least a gallon of water a day. there is no need to make it harder on your self. weightloss does not have magic food properties associated with it, its calories in vs calories out.

    good luck on your journey

haha ya im guessing the cans might have some calories. =P

but ya id rather drink coke zero instead of gatorade, i am personally anti-gatorade, due to the fact that its high fructose cornsyrup, (fructose and sucrose) i mean for a sports drink you would think they would use a sugar that can be directly used by the muscle and not need to go through the liver first, but anyways coke zero is like my savior when it comes to those days where i just cant get enough to eat. and have had no problem losing fat =)

If you do some intense workouts then the electrolytes can be good plus it has carbs. G2 isn't bad at all maybe just mix a little with water or buy the powder and use only a little. I use about 100 calories worth of the stuff on workout days, not a lot at all.

i understand what it says, but if something has zero calories, and you keep your diet the same in all other aspects, can it really put weight on you?

this is interesting, because you could also broden this topic too the premise that most diabetics are overweight. are they overweight because of the insulin or does the insulin make them hungry and therefore they eat more calorie dense foods.

just as a future reference, i wouldnt really use any information seen on wikipedia, find some other sources. also i never said the electrolytes were bad, but you could get them from other sources, and for the price id rather make my own "sports drink" =)

depending on what diabetes we are talking about it differs, but they are usually insulin resistant, due to exercise, lifestyle, and diet habits. its usually there eating habits that increase insulin not the other way around, insulin is increased when blood sugar is high.

^^Yeah, anybody can edit the information on there. I didn't bother reading it but maybe its similar to the "Exercise is bad for weight loss" articles, people start exercising or eating/drinking diet foods and think its equivalent to a couple slices of cake.

Coke zero is just unhealthy. Not going to hurt weight loss. Water is much better for you though.

just trying to understand here but your saying, there mentality is "oh i ran a mile and drank a diet soda, therefore i can eat a piece of cake?", i completely agree, most people i talk to, exercise so that they can eat what they want, rather than using diet to help exercise.

Coke Zero is TERRIBLE for weight loss. Replace it with Diet Coke. Kidding. I drink 2, maybe 3 a day on top of my usual gallon or so of water. My weight loss is steady at 2-2.5lbs a week.

I have searched for things wrong with Diet sodas for a while. the only thing i have ever found is one site said that it "MAY" slow your metabolism. I doubt it though not enough research yet. It has o calories and no sugar.

This is actually quite the controversial issue. There are some studies I've seen in the past. However, there are others that contradict them. I choose not to drink the diet soda. I like to drink diet OceanSpray fruit juice. Cranberry, Cran-Grape, etc... Only 5 calories per 8 ounces, and nothing in it that is questionable.

i just heard the sweeteners where doing something counter productive but i don't think it will make an impact on a straight diet and exercise.

I personally stick to water cause i just don't like the taste of soda.

Yeah. Some don't realize how few calories they burn or how many they eat.

Or you can do it right and run a mile, drink a diet soda, and then not eat a piece of cake...

All these claims that "This drink / food is bad for weight/fat loss are BS" and most of them are just marketing ploys! If a diet soda with zero calories is bad for your cut, then what kind of havoc would a serving of peanut butter cause, or even worse, your typical protein bar? Logic is in short supply on most of these issues! Almost all of the protein shakes we religiously drink have artificial sweeteners in them along with artificial colorings and flavors. Worry less about the diet sodas you drink and concentrate more on getting plenty of exercise and eating a sensible diet.
