How can I make chicken breast more...interesting?

Chicken breast is a bodybuilder favorite, and I've been eating quite a bit of it recently. so much so that I'm often reminded of a line from the Doors' song "Back Door Man" ("I eat more chicken than a man ever see.")

It's just that chicken breast is....chicken breast. Any suggestions on how to make it more palatable after the 200th serving?
I'd eat a French goat turd if I thought it'd make me bigger.

Pardon the mess; body under reconstruction.

    Yes. Marinate it overnight.

Make some slits in the breast using a knife...make your own marinade or use a ready made one....add generous amount of yogurt..and a meat tenderizer if you want it tender...and let it sit in fridge overnight.

Then grill / broil on SLOW and baste with olive oil.

I just sprinkle a little bit of mixed herbs on it, cheap as hell for a pot at the store. Takes fine to me then. You can try other seasonings but i find a lot of them are sometimes really high in Sodium. You could also try putting a little BBQ sauce on them, a decent serving of that (the brand i use anyway) is only about 30cals.

Sprinkle it with sesame seeds when frying, gives it a totally unique taste.

In addition to spices and marinating in.. Frank's Red Hot, Salsa, or Balsamic right on top can add some flavor. If you have some room to add calories, Peanut Butter, Hummus, Cheese.

You also don't just have to have cut up grilled chicken. Throw it in a wrap, on a sandwich, in salad, in pasta, etc.

That's exactly what I use. Along with some Mrs. Dash spices and Gulden's Spicy Mustard.

There are a ton of things you can do with chicken, which makes it very good.

I bake mine with either garlic powder and red pepper on top, or if I'm in a sweet mood I'll sprinkle a pack of splenda on it, you'd be surprised how good it tastes

I like to avoid using sugary marinades like BBQ sauce or italian dressing. Don't use that crap. I like to cut the chicken breast into thin slices then stir-fry in 3-4 tbsp butter. Add vegetables to soak up more butter and diversify flavor. Season with whatever else you want on top of that, I use garlic and ground pepper.

also a favorite of mine is to make a "stir fry". cook up some chicken in a cast iron or non stick pan, season w/ a bit of salt and pepper and garic powder. throw in some frozen veggies (whatever kind u like) add some ornge chikcne sauce from panda express, either eat it alone or w/ some rice.

    In all seriousness now:
    Stir Fry it
Cook with w/ veggies, mushrooms, onions in a pan
    Grille it
    Chicken Ca-Bobs
    Marinade it

    Try different condiments w/ it:

    Salsa
    Hot sauce
    Sour Cream
    Low cal dressings
    Mustards (spicy or honey)
    Asian dressings for stir frys

I add paprika and salt normally. Also I don't cook it as long as the directions say, it ends up dry normally that way, so decreasing the cook time (baking) by 10 min or so (frozen tenderloins) makes it taste better, and the internal temp gets to 165 still.

x2, except i use NuStevia as the sweetener, it gives it a more distinct flavor than splenda imo, either way both are delicious, sweet+meat=win.

Ketchup is delicious and I use that on just about everything. Seriously, every meal I ate for the rest of my life could be chicken breast if I had ketchup.

I know it's sugary, but I'm a little hesitant about trying sugar-free ketchup or another condiment :/

OLD EL PASSO BBQ FAJITA POWDER..

...just pour a little water over the chicken then smash on the powder.. it tastes lush and there's not much to it either. It tastes amazing when it's still hot but also really good cold if you have left it in a plastic container for half of the day.

The spicy bbq sauces are very low in sugar. Stubb's Spicy is what I have been using lately. Think it has like 4grams per serving as opposed to say 28 or so for a honey bbq.

if you can afford it, i really can't but I try and buy it anyways, get the free range chicken. I find it to be much more juicy and it's suppose to be a lot better for you since the animals are raised humanely and fed a better diet than just corn.
