Hey gentlemen,
Maybe you probably have seen before some videos of those guys from Calisthenics Kingz?
Is that really possible to get an upper body like that?
Forgive my misinformation, but I always thought calisthenics would make my core bulk but not so much the arms. That's how most guys I know working on calisthenics are.

Do Calisthenics Kingz really do only calisthenics?

Well, as the name implies, they say their workouts are only calisthenics. "No weights or machinery". Those guys have massive arms, but everyone I knew who works only with calisthenics have a strong core, but not so much big limbs.
I tried to post their website and videos available at youtube to show what I mean, but I can't post links because I was not active enough at this forum, yet.

I know what you're saying. Most of us have seen the videos. The guys are pretty built. At least upper body wise.
I can't say if they actually only do the calisthenics. However, I could see their workouts getting them the size they have. What they do is no easy task. Calisthenics are explosive exercises, which can be very good for building muscle (can).-

Hi, I'm a representing member of Calisthenics Kingz and YES we only do Calisthenics. Weights did not work for me at all, my muscles were practically non responsive to it but the explosiveness of Calisthenics really promoted to my muscle anatomy and now I've transformed from a once skinny kid to a ripped android.

similar to gymnasts doing stuff like roman rings etc i dont think they do much weight training, maybe to rehab some injuries but not as part of their main stress. u get some gymnasts who have very developed upper bodies arms included, while others not so much even tho they can be very close in performance levels. some guys just do develop muscles better doing the same thing as the next guy & that goes for weight training as well.
however its a question of efficiency, if u are after visible muscle development u cant beat proper bodybuilding routines, regardless that there may be people spending many hrs each day on the roman rings or monkey bars, u can get the stimulus in less time with an efficient weight training routine."Though the concept is not scientifically validated in detail (it should be considered as a hypothesis rather than a scientific theory), it is useful from a practical standpoint. When training athletes, it is impossible to wait until scientific research provides all of the necessary knowledge." Vladmir M. Zatsiorsky, Ph.D.

OP, just get at Hit Richards on ********, he started the Calisthenic Kingz and swears by bodyweight training. I talk to him all the time since we are both personal trainers, hitting back and forth about methods, diets, whatever.

You should be ashamed of yourself. This is a forum where everyone is (whether optimistically or negatively) sharing their opinions on bodyweight training. To even begin judging others such as myself on "STATS" is completely irrelevant and you come attacking with the poorest judgements possible which makes me think that you didn't even make it past elementary school.
PLUS to everyone, I am calling out this person's statement because if you want to say that I'm a skinny kid well then I'll tell you exactly what I think of YOU. You're just another regular 6 foot 200+ pound obese juice head. Trust me there's an abundance of you in the states so I'd suggest you better stop over populating fam. You got no shame at all coming and provoking a light weight. Why don't you go and run you bitch ass mouth on a forum where there are 300+ pounders with stacks of muscles. It's guys like you who think you run the show at 200+ pounds. You're nothing trust me.
WHICH BODYBUILDER user has only ONE picture, that BEING this guy here. Shows me that you're not proud of yourself a.hole. So I recommend that if you want to come back strong, do better than just an f.ing photo of you doing a squat with your face hidden from view. That's absolutely pathetic in my eyes. Like I said to another user before. It's guys like you that black belt martial artists like me should absolutely beat the **** out of so you could never pick up a barbell again.
GET THE F off this forum if you got nothing positive to input. Stupid a.holes stop jocking on people. Go to a weights related forum this has nothing to do with you ****s.

Can you tell me how to get a still image of a squat that both shows the crease of the hip and the patella in order to accurately judge depth and shows your face? Can you tell me why having your face in your internet avatar matters AT ALL?
I can post something that as my face too. Big fucking deal.
