Only the larger departments will hire someone with a little to no experience. In The Academy there is a handful of guys who were former firefighters I counted guys from LA County, North Lake Tahoe, San Diego, some Indian reserve, and some wildland guy. haha my bad im just drinking a little. Im just saying I see a lot of firefighters that go years for a fire dept to hire them. I just dont want to be one of them and wait around for a very long time after im done with my school. But its part of the game I guess. It should all pay off

Questions for the paramedics:
How do you clear c-spine precautions?
I am guessing....
No KO or loss of consciousness before, during, and after the event.
Good movement and sensation on all extremities.
No neck and back pain.
No major mechanism of injury.(ie no major damage on car).
