Anyone else here play CAP No Limit ?
Frickin fish flock to this game. And the nits don't play optimally either.
Shoving over a 3x + flat for 1/4 BI profit feels good man. + equity if they call.
Right now I'm trying to stick to a 40-50 BI rule but I have taken some successful shots at the next level.

I'm not a sore loser, I can deal with losing, but yesterday I was banging on the monitor screen with SO many bad beats.
Its nights like yesterday that makes me wonder whether fulltilt is really rigged, with other bots or something. My Saltwater Reef Aquarium website: www.Reeftology.com

Last night I shiit you not I got a continous flow of shiit hands. A minimum of 30 hands were shiit. I got desperate and lost the sng after I was way ahead.
Can someone advice me on what to do in this situation?
And everyone was carefully playing thier cards so there were a lot of folds.

I've had days/nights like that too where it seems every game I'm getting **** hands. ALL Low cards and if I do get an A or a K it's with something like a 2. Then another day/game, I'll be getting the good hands.
I was telling my friend about it who was watching the game and talking to me in IM and all he could say is "you're on tilt". I'm like yeah, "tilted" because FT gives me **** hand after another.
I was watching a game yesterday... FT "Pro" in one of those one cent games. Even he was making stupid plays and getting his ass kicked. He raised with Q's and then after the turn and river there was an easy flush there, he's still calling his little Q's and someone beat him with a flush. I lol'd. Personally, I would've folded assuming that one of the other 2 guys had that one suit to make a flush.1k.

A recommendation I'd make to players who feel they are getting unlucky in a session is to sit out and wait until they are clear headed. A lot of the times you may be experiencing genuine bad luck, but this is further compounded by frustration and a short term fall in confidence in your abilities. This is why some players have stop losses - Phil Ivey sits out of big games some times, even if he's played a relatively small amount of hands. I know that I have a stop loss and the times I don't adhere to it and lose more $ occur more often than the times I don't adhere to it and make money. Every one thinks they are tilt proof and that bad beats don't affect them, but all else being equal it's best to play with confidence and a level head, so waiting until you are truly over bad beats can't hurt too much.

Here's a genuine tip: Set up a Stop Loss each session. I recommend 4-5 Buy ins. When you lose 4-5 buy ins, STOP playing. Regroup and come fight another day. Because whether you realize it or not, you're not in the best state of mind when you're down 5 buy ins. Mental strength is also very important in poker.

And here I was about to complain about my session lul. Down 1bi but should be up ~7bi, mostly due to bad beats. I'm actually rather happy with myself considering the constant barrage of cock slaps I received - FH over FH twice, set over set once, 2nd nut flush v nut flush + the usual loss of flips and 70/30. To the tilt monkeys going ape over one or two bad beats, notice how I'm still level headed ^_^ no angst, about it.
fuu so many bad players online atm
EDIT: top 2 v bottom set lolol
Well, in summary, a -9bi day I'd say the mix of bad play/bad run is about 80/20 (no exaggeration kk ^_^). Hopefully I'll pick it up soon. Sucks though! This is my largest downswing ever at any limit I believe, maybe I had a 10bi DS at NL50, mostly as a result of running bad (not getting coolered, running bad). /gg pokersLast edited by OMGEnglemanChan; 10-02-2009 at 10:32 AM.

Calling with any hand is ghey if there's no raise in front of you. If there isn't then it's a fold or raise dependant on position, people behind you, people in the blinds etc...
If there's already been a raise it's situational. Dependent on how many people have called. position. potential fish that might call from the blinds as well. Openers range. etc...Last edited by lacey23; 10-02-2009 at 12:42 PM.

I raise it mid to late position if there is no raise before me. I would call any raise 2x or 3x the big blind generally. Also have to think about the villian(s) and how they play. I try not to limp with any decent hand. By limping you are potentially allowing more players in that shouldn't be. That's when you end up seeing a 2 6 Q board and end up calling down, and villian flips over 2 6.
Just my 2 cents, I in no way claim to be a good player though haha.
