Sugar doesn't make you fat just as fat doesn't make you fat. There are a host of other health issues with sugar but does not directly contribute to gaining weight. I suggest stop drinking vitamin water and stick with regular water and lower your overall caloric intake. Eat oatmeal in the morning which will fill you up real good and make you not as hungry throughout the day.

Good job on cutting out the crap food but..... You are still eating ALOT of processed crap!
If your attepting to get into a clean diet add ALOT more VEGGIES, Oatmeal, tuna, and plain old water. Dude you can eat an assload of natural veggies and stay way under a 2000 cal diet.
Also if your needing to have food for the road, an apple or protien bar works great.

It could be the cereal bars, eventhough you do alot of cardio.

just stick to basics, don't go too low on the calories (you need enough nutrients for normal development). Your diet might need some work, eat more whole foods, leave out the processed stuff (even if it's more convenient). Start eating a lot of fibrous veggies and more protein. And what's with the fried rice man? (!) And make sure you space out those meals properly into 5-6 smaller ones throughout the day, also try to get the right macro ratios for each meal.

Those cereal bars and vitamin waters are killing you. Those cereal bars are lame, they are 90 cals apiece and have nothing but those calories, 16g carbs, and a few vitamins you could get from a multi anyway. At a minimum of 5 of those per day, thats 450 calories.
Vitamin waters are 125 calories per bottle. That means 250 calories per day just from those.
The only way to lose weight is have a clorie defecit, and when you are trying to have a calorie defecit, 700 cals just from a couple drinks and some cereal bars is not going to help you.
Also, take it easy on the PB&J.
I think you are a victim of fake health foods. Look at the nutrition facts, not the advertising, you are much better off that way.
You are obviously dedicated, so I think with some tweaks to your diet you should be good to go and seeing results soon. Good luck!YGBSM

Vitamin water is listed on the mens health web site as the worst possible sports drink due to all the sugar in it. Make sure you r using natural organic peanut butter. Put those cereal bars in the trash. Eat sensible portions of chicken, salmon, tuna, all the veggies you want. Stick to whole grain breads that contain no high fructose corn syrup. No fried rice! Use whole grain brown rice. Fruit is ok, oatmeal = good.

At a glance we cann all see that your diet sucks.

Plain and simple, you're eating way too much if your goal is to lose weight. I started out at 285 and started dieting and exercising and in a typical day I'll eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, one fruit (apple, orange, peach, etc.) for snack, plain turkey sandwich (2 slices) on light rye or wheat bread for lunch, another piece of fruit for a snack, and one grilled chicken breast for dinner. I've lost 40 lbs in 2 months doing that. With that being said, I would say you being 170 lbs should definitely be eating no more than I am, probably significantly less, if anything, considering you're more than 100 lbs less than I was when I started. As everyone else has stated, you need a calorie deficit to lose weight. From the sounds of it, you're eating maybe double what I eat in a day, hence double the calories. Try cutting each of your meals almost in half and see what happens. You'll be hungry at first, but after a week or two, you'll get used to it and look back at what you used to eat and realize why you weren't losing any weight.
