Last words before the battle is engaged: Those of you who followed my last Log know what to expect from me. Those who didn't can find it here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=987917
I intend to post at on the workout days, possibly more, and will mark the posts so readers can tell which is an actual log post and which is grabassery. I also intend to re-measure everything at the end of the Log.
I will not be posting diet numbers, though I will probably throw up weigh-in numbers from time to time. For the workout days, I will be posting the exercises and the weights used, excluding warm-up sets. I will just mention the exercise I used for warm-ups. I will also attempt to make commentary on the various methods (drop sets, super sets, et. al.) when I am using something beyond straight/static sets.
I want to talk briefly about the use of the stims during the workouts and try to explain a bit of the madness behind the method. I spaced them out so as not to burn out my adrenals. Except for the weekends and the one noted weekday, they will be restricted to weekend use only. I feel in this way I will be able to both supercharge the weekend workouts, as well as compare how the various substances act during those workout as well as how they compare to each other.
During this log, I will be making as few alterations as possible, so as not to skew numbers or results. To that end, I will not be adding or deleting any of the supplements listed below. Likewise, I am not going to get into listing the timing of when I take the various names on the list (beyond what is already notated), unless there is demand for that information.
I will also be commenting periodically in my BodySpace BLOG, which I invite anyone to read who is interested in further dissertations from yours truly. I would be delinquent if I didn't thank Chris Belanger (Poster AKA Gym God) of Fusion Nutrition, so, again, thank you.
Finally and most importantly, thanks to all of you for joining me on this adventure.

Workout: Shoulder/Chest
Exercises Used:
Cuban Half-Press = 2 Warm-Up sets
DB Lateral Raise = 4 Work sets (70X4, 65X5, 60X6, 55X8) {Drops, no rest}
Cuban Half-Press = 1 Work set (55X6)

Cuban Half-Press = 1 Work set (55X6)
High Cable Rear Delt Row = 4 Work sets (220X5, 260X4, 250, 240X5) {Drops, No rest}
Cuban Half-Press = 1 Work set (55X6)
Military Press on Smith = 4 Work sets (105X6, 125X5, 145X3, 125X5)
Decreasing Angle Incline Press on Smith = 4 Work sets (125X3X2, 125X6X2) {Low rest}
Fly Press = 3 Work sets (50sX5, 45sX6, 40sX7) {Drops, no rest}
Crosslocks = 3 Work sets (70X6, 55X8, 40X10) {Drops, no rest}
Total Workout Time: Approx. 70 min.
Quality Level: Good. I felt like I could have gone yesterday, but held off an extra day just to be sure. I feel pretty much beat to death now. I was going to add in Abwork, but I was running too far behind as it was. Part of the reason for that was I couldn't get the free straps I got from bb.com to ever feel comfortable or to the point where I felt I was gripping them tight enough. The bar on this Smith machine is pretty slick and if the straps aren't super-tight, then the straps tend to unravel...weight was up for this workout and the PW definitely made a difference tonight. I can't wait to try it with some of the pre-workout energizers...should see some serious ass-kicking going down...
Observations From The Deck: No comment on the ZEUS.
Auxiliary Intel: Machine's BodySpace updated.

Great clean start EMIS. It really plays with your head when the straps aren't functioning properly - it totally takes you off your game.
You may have already said this but why do you only take calcium on your workout days?Chris Belanger | Vice President, Sales

I didn't get my order of free straps from bb.com until I asked for it again in another order and complained a little.

Thanks, Chris. I didn't say, but basically, for a while, I was taking calcium tabs daily. When I switched to the GNC brand a few years ago, they started to make me feel off. I started to add up how much calcium I was raining in everyday and I thought the number was grossly excessive (and started to get a bit freaked about deposits/stones, etc.), so I cut it back to workout days, as I think it's helpful in removing lactic acid. I have also felt better since I cut it back (at least a couple years ago now), so I've just let it on workout days only...
NEGGED for not reading the conditions.
Damn me. I hate Logs that get too cluttered as it's hard then to tell what is going on and also I'm doing a LOT of experimenting for the next month...
Tuesday will be my 40th day and the end of the second bottle, which leaves one more bottle to go. What do you mean by "it started working"? At times, I've had effects, which I suspect are the ZEUS, but what do you mean specifically?
I had to ask for mine twice. I don't like them, though...they seem too short to me...I wish I could figure out a way to stretch them further...
I may go strap shopping, but considering I do exactly one exercise using them ever and then only sometimes with that one, maybe not...Last edited by EMISGOD; 01-12-2007 at 05:42 PM.

i just meant that i was starting to feel effects from them, not exactly making me a beast at the moment, but i know they are doing something, increased acne and, annoying enough, new body hair are signs that they are reacting and doing something inside my body.
Are you taking arginine, as recommended in the GG diet by the way, just curiousStrength is Pain. Power is Torture. Strength beyond Strength. Power beyond human F'ing Power.

Workout: Back, with Special Guest VPX Redline RTD
Exercises Used:
Lat Tower = 2 Warm-Up sets, 1 Mid warmp-up set
1-Armed DB Row = 2 Work sets (100X5) {No rest}
Low Row = 4 Work sets (205X5, 220X4, 220, 205X5) {No rest}
Yates Row on EZ Bar = 3 Work sets (195X5) {No rest}
T-Bar BB Rows = 4 Work sets (225, 225X4, 250X1*, 250X3) {Low rest}
Horizontal Pull-Ups = 4 Work sets (5 reps) {No rest}
* = Grip failed. I used gloves for this so as to keep the BB bearing oil off of my hands, but given that I always lead with my right hand anyway, I didn't really need the left glove (Left hand was failing), so I ditched that and continued the exercise with no further problems.
Total Workout Time: Approx. 50 min.
Quality Level: Good. I don't know where I was, but I was not there. I just could not get my head into it today, probably because I was really thrown off on my sleep schedule last night. I was able to work moderately heavy weight with pretty strict form, though, which saved this workout. Energy was ok, but I should have waited a bit longer before going in. It's been a while since I've used Redline and taking it 45 minutes to an hour before the workout seems to work best...my Lats seemed to burn out somewhat quickly today and my Triceps are not quite all the way back yet from Thursday, so recovery still seems to be an issue. The Infusion is helping, but it not pushing me over the top...
Observations From The Deck: No comment on the ZEUS, other than to note that I notice myself being really short on patience lately...
Auxiliary Intel: Machine's BodySpace updated. I weighed in at 242 last night, which is down another pound from the end of N-Cinerate and really odd since this, quite frankly, has not been one of my better weeks dietarily...

Thanks. I personally don't think it ranks as one of my better ones...hopefully the Lats will take more abuse next week...if I had been able to summon any focus or concentration, it had all the makings of some serious intensity, though...the PW during the workouts is really coming in handy.
