Been sick for 2 weeks now, losing some muscle density and mass. How long does muscle memory kick in?

2 weeks after not lifting combined with being ill could lead to some pretty bad muscle fatigue. Maybe not much actual muscle lost, unless you have a ridiculous flu and aren't eating. Though, I said a month at the most. When I was sick once for a few weeks, it took about a month to get back where I was, but I did ease back into it.

my brother got mono last spring and lost about 10 pounds, but he actually only lost about 5 pounds of muscle and about 5 pounds of fat (Or so he says), cuz he had put on soem fat away during his first year of college. But it took him about 2 1/2 weeks to get over mono and about 3-4 weeks to regain but those 10 pounds he lost, but he looked noticeably more cut after regainign the those 10 pounds.
