Have any of you mma guys watched rousey fight? She is very slow. She looked like she's moving in slow motion when moving in. She has amazing technique and can over power women with ease...but she would never get close to mayweather. She honestly looks like a punching bag when fighting women. What do you think one of the quickest men to ever live would do to her? I imagine her face would be swollen after her first attempt to close the gap. If she made it through the first round her eyes would be closed up and they'd have to call it. I honestly think after 10 seconds we would see the speed gap between the two. He would be toying with her. Cringe worthy. If she miraculously got him to the ground it would be interesting. This is the point were we could see if a woman's technique could defeat an elite male fighters strength/size....he has 20 lbs on her.

^ that
Quick note about the weight difference. That's a pure muscle difference. Honda is NOT anywhere near the BF mayweather is. He's lean as ffffuuuuuuu. Her? Probably 20% bf? It's not that he's just 20 lbs heavier he's over 20lbs of muscle heavier."It won't get better, just different."
“Yeah, that's what the present is. It's a little unsatisfying because life's a little unsatisfying.”

Rogan just has a hard on for Mayweather. He once said that the average college wrestler would beat him too. Guy's been beyond awful lately.
This is a ridiculous hypothetical. A male boxer vs a female mma fighter? Smoke another one Joe, and don't let Dana's balls slap your chin too hard*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

Why do MMA fans always think it's so easy to take someone down like a Mayweather? "Oh he/she would just take him down".
Same **** all the time. I love MMA/UFC, but please. Floyd is not some potato on the street. LOL at anyone who thinks boxers are only good at punching. Someone of Mayweather's caliber has elite footwork (extremely crucial to avoiding a takedown), amazing cardio, and just overall great defense. Before Ronda would even shoot for his legs she'd get caught by a 5 punch combo faster than anything she's ever seen. People also bring up the Toney fight. What about the Mercer/Silva fight? Oh, Silva sucks and was fat and out of shape, right, but Toney was in his prime?☆☆☆MISC BOXING CREW☆☆☆

lol i would bet big money that rhonda has a bigger squat and deadlift than mayweather. even if mayweather hits her coming in and stuns her, rhonda would still armbar mayweather 40 seconds punch drunk.

I guess nobody has trained wrestling/grappling here. Floyd definitely could win by a KO in under minute, but some of you guys are acting like Floyd's athleticism and footwork is all he needs to defend a takedown. You know there's 150 lbers in my gym who can manhandle 180+ guys who have years of wrestling/grappling experience, one of those guys could easily takedown someone their own size who has literally no experience, it's not like Floyd's athleticism is superior to years of wrestling. It would go like this: Either Floyd gets a quick KO, or Ronda gets the takedown and effortlessly submits him.

Yea, bro. Many of us in the MMA forum are grapplers. That's why we're being realistic here. Technique can only accomplish so much up to a certain point against a size difference. And add on top of that athleticism, a deadly offense and the overall physical differences between a man and a woman, the hardships they've endured, the opponents they've faced in their lives.. lmao. Not even close. Floyd gets the KO every time.
Liberalism: the haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.

I think Rogan was spot on...throw them into the cage at this very moment, Ronda could easily win it if she gets a takedown though with the reach difference it might not be pretty getting in close enough. Give Mayweather 6 months to a year to train? I say even with a few weeks of solid takedown defense training he'd decimate her.

Miesha has grappling experience though, Floyd has none, zero, zilch. It's obvious none of you have ever grappled otherwise you'd realize how helpless he'd be. Rhonda doesn't even have to clinch, I'm sure she can shoot a single or double and from that point on it's game over.

LOL Floyd don't even need weeks of takedown defense training to KO her.
There's only one possible way Rousey get's her hands on Mayweather and that's shooting.
And all he'd have to do is sidestep and uppercut/hook her.
With his footwork and reflexes it'll be easy money.
Aside from shooting do you honestly think Money's gonna just let her put hands on him?
LOL the art of boxing (not brawling) is to hit without getting hit, and who's better at that than Floyd?
Now as far as Aldo, he'd destroy Mayweather, and even then it's only for two reasons I can think:
1. He's amazing with the kicking
2. Off chance he can eat a few punches from Floyd and still get his hands on the guy.

anytime he got close she could leg kick, he would be limping before he ever hurt her and if she got the clinch and got him down, good night. I could see him sticking and moving all night though like when he fought that pretty boy mexican.
People who say they want to change the world usually just want a fan club.

Aldo needs to connect with one kick to stop Floyd's movement, the 2nd or 3rd will be a TKO.
As far as Ronda....If you actually believe Ronda has a chance what u're basically saying is that when Floyd connects a punch with her head, it's not gonna do enough damage to take her out....If you think he wont connect you're a ****ing idiot

Ronda has been hit. She's been hit during her exchanges with Meisha. I'm not confident she'd get the better of the exchanges with Cyborg at all, but I am however highly, highly confident, that she would get her down to the ground and tap her.
Ronda would not beat any of the men she's said she would btw.

People saying Ronda, are you really assuming Floyd doesn't even get one punch on her? She gets hit by Women UFC fighters. There's male Pro Boxers who get KO by Floyd and that's with bigger gloves. We've seen men UFC fights end with a KO punch. Ronda has never seen speed like his before. Mayweather connects with a combo once she gets close and she's on the floor squirming. The fact that some people she'd be able to eat a few punches of his is beyond potato.

But but but grown MEN who do nothing but train/condition themselves to taking shots haven't been ko'd by mayweather. Therefore, rousey probably wouldn't be KO'd either....Lol.
Mayweather hits hard, especially for his size. Meaning, let's not forget he is a 150 lber fighting at 147, against guys who are naturally 160+ lbs. If mayweather did what everybody else did, and cut to 135-140, I'm sure his KO percentage would be a lot higher.

ronda is not a natural wrestler though. her background is judo and jiu jitsu. she doesn't shoot single or double leg takedowns like sara mcmann does since she's a silver medalist in wrestling. ronda relies primarily on the clinch to throw you, which limits her options when it comes to closing the distance.
i've wrestled for 8 years and i realize how helpless a non-wrestler could feel against me. but we're talking about the best boxer out there AND it's male vs female....Last edited by andrew28; 04-17-2014 at 12:41 PM.

I'm pretty fuarking sure she knows how to shoot a single and double, she has a wrestling coach. You've never wrestled an olympian of Mcmann's caliber so your point is stupid. I know how weak women are I wrestled women as a noob and could easily manhandle them. These women however were not in my weight class and they weren't freaking olympians for christ's sake.
