    protein shake in the morning?

    just wondering ....is it a good idea to have one first thing in the morning before eating breakfast?

    I have a scoop of whey with breakfast every morning either in the form of a shake (1.5 cups skim milk + whey) or turned into a protein frosting for homemade pancakes

    whey is a fast absorbing protein, and after 8 hours of not eating you wanna stop catabolism ASAP

    i would just take it with breakfast instead of before

    thats what i also do. A quick shake with my breakfast. Milk, oats, sometimes a banana.
