OP is not a *******. R1 is nice but I got an R6
HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG
Also to anyone looking to get a bike, do not get a Litre bike. Most 600 have enough power to **** yourself up if you make a mistake (I should know, crashed one). Not to mention they are already faster than any car under 200k.
Oh and I almost forgot, dont get a good bike for your first because you absolutely 100% will drop that bike. I didn't say crash, I said drop, as in something simple at low speed or just not putting it down right and bam
Ive never known anyone not to drop their first bike within a year lol.Last edited by ImOldGregg; 10-06-2013 at 03:23 PM.

take MSF course then buy something you wont go crazy on.. a 650 or an old 600 (I have a CBR600 F2).. you'll be fine. if you have throttle control it's just like any other bike but you don't need to rev it to the moon every gear
having extra power can be to your advantage, but a new supersport is very deceiving.. feels like you are going much slower than you are, and can get you in trouble fast.

250's are fun as fuk if its your first bike srs stop being a ******* also 2 years is much longer then most people tend to upgrade in. i went from my gs500f (like a 250 power wise, dont let the 500 throw you off) to a newer r6 in i think like 6 months. rode a lot on the 500 and still surely could have rode more on it but had the money and was stoked to get a sexy quicker bike since my 500 was a beater and i rode it alot. brb restored salvage title bends and dents and cracks n chit ahhaha but good bike to learn on. never droppe my r6 (or future gsxr 1000) once thanks to not being a retard and learning the right way and not being too st00pid
