Went to the gym after more than a week (last workout was last Friday) and was worried that lifts would suck, especially since I've been off Creatine and my diet has been crap (not enough protein and lots of carbs).
Fortunately, they were a mix and went up in most cases -- squats, OHPs, curls, and calf raises went up; DLs remained the same; and bench went down (even though it was only my second workout).
I tried doing some DB chest presses (arguably, at the very end), but even that failed miserably. I can usually do 2 sets of 8 reps each @ 45 lbs, or 2 sets of 4 reps each @50 lbs. But today, I could only do 1 set of 8 reps @45 lbs, then failed at the second set at 4 reps, and tried with 40 lbs, and failed again at 4 reps, and could only do 8 reps @35 lbs.
Weirdly enough, my chest could take it, but it was my shoulders that failed. I've never had the DBs fall off my hands before, and that's what almost happened, and I dropped them on the floor.

Maybe when I was getting fat at age 12.
Ps; I ate 2650 calories yesterday because fuk you that's why.
I woke up at 157, first time I've EVER lost weight after a treat. Usually I'll gain like 5 pounds and it takes a week to get back to where I was. Don't ask me how I went from 170 post turkey day bloat to 157 in like 25 days...
I'm actually getting worried because I don't want to go to the doctor's 2 weeks from now with a 10 pound weight loss because he might be like "dafock you doing?". I went in a few days ago really bloated at 164 pounds and then had the crap of my life that same day, I really don't want to explain that to him.Last edited by moore93; 12-16-2012 at 08:56 AM.

There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Oh my. :O
These "sports" have come a long way, and I saw at least two females competing after following one of your links.
Have you ever been to a Cirque du Soleil show? I was blown away by the athleticism, grace, costumes and sets in the "Ka" production in Vegas. (I was with people who weren't as impressed, however. They'd been to a few other shows.)
...
Here's something from the first athletic girls thread. NSFW due to female plus pole plus short shorts. It's more artistic/athletic than s*xual, but it's still s*xual, lol. The cool factor is high though.

Whenever i see them without any clothes = instant loss of respect for whatever they are doing. Especially on a pole where they are just doing what strippers do -__-
It'd be a bit more impressive if they didnt make it about their body and more about their ability to do something and put some damn clothes on, and using a pole is even further degrading. There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Never been to Cirque du Soleil...vid u posted was kool. Like how she is strong and graceful at the same time.
Noticed that I couldn't find too many women doing pullups / dips and the ones I did find had poor technique...know it's because we tend to be lacking in upper body strength, so plan to specifically train those areas. Love seeing strength + flexibility! Very sexy
Found this girl's video...she's beastin' it
