The reason I ask is because I can usually only get 3 (but I'm hoping to up to 5). By workout I mean lift weights, not any running or plyos you might also do.

Im on a 6 day split:
Monday-Chest/Triceps
Tuesday-Back/Biceps/Forearms
Wednesday-Legs/Shoulders
Thursday-Rest
Friday-Chest-Triceps
Saturday-Back/Biceps/Forearms
Sunday-Legs/Shoulders
Monday-Rest
etc...
3 days on, one off and so on...this way I can hit every muscle group twice without overtraining...Ive been using it for about a year and I have gotten better results with this one than any I've used...somedays, since im so addicted to the gym, ill just go do some cardio on rest days, but for the most part thats my split...BTW, I do abs every other day.
