But would not go with Phelps. His ERA is a run lower in the pen. He has only gone 6IP 3 times all year and 100Pitches once all year. Not what I want from a starter.

Oakland scares me a lot more than anyone else.

Fukin Remy was talking about how CC worried him as his velocity was down and also Soriano as a closer was an issue.

I am concerned about CC and Soriano too. But at least everyone is back and they're playing pretty well lately.

Yeah the offense looks really solid. Hoping Tex finds his swing soon though, Canon is destroying the ball right now.

I think we have a decent chance if we can make it to the Series.

Well the one benefit to this stupid scheduling is that if the Yankees split the games at Baltimore/Arlington, they only have to win 2-of-3 at home.

Oh and I think the rotation should be
CC, Kuroda, Pettitte, with Nova as the 4th starter and Phelps and Hughes in the pen, both have worked well there before. Hughes seems like the better choice for 4th starter but his experience/past success in the bullpen kind of make me want Nova starting

I say Sabathia, Kuroda, and Pettitte for the ALDS and then throw Hughes out there during the ALCS because I have confidence in him. I have no confidence in Nova.

It's gonna be Sabathia Kuroda Pettitte Hughes and Phelps in the pen. I don't know if Nova will even make the postseason roster over Lowe, who seems to be moving into Joe's circle of trust and can work out of the bullpen as the long man or short relief.

I don't see this happening. He's been rolling these last 4 starts and this is the most well rested he's ever been going into the playoffs.
