Cardio
30 minute terrain program on treadmill
I was planning on running, but I've had a headache for 3 days I can't shake. I didn't go to TKD last night because of it and knew I had to get there tonight, so I took it a little easy.
TKD
45 minute class
Sparring. Blah. lol. I need to work on my stamina. I was dying and in 3 months I'll be in the advanced class. Plan is to hit 1 sparring class per week instead of the 1 sparring class per 3 month test cycle I've been doing.

I've noticed some unusual things over the past few weeks. First, when I was eating in the 1500 calorie range, I was never starved. A little hungry, yes. But not starved. Monday and Tuesday of this week, I was ravenous. Intolerable hunger. Today, I'm stuffed. Odd.
Also, my calorie burn is down this week. I was hitting 2400 on workout days pretty easily, usually a little more. Yesterday I only hit 2000, and today I'm on track to hit 2200. I don't understand my body.https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

Macros were out of whack, but calories are OK. It was a crazy day. Had to leave the house at 6:45 for an appt. for Kevin. I had meetings all day (literally. I think I had maybe an hour all day without a meeting). Left a little early to take Kevin to religion. Ran home, heated up dinner for Mike, then took him to the ski slopes to work on a merit badge. Regretted not skiing. Got home at 10. All eating with the exception of breakfast was done on the run.
Thanks!
Thanks, Hoos! It actually broke about halfway through the day. Hopefully it stays gone!https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

Got a false start with the new plan this week. Yesterday's meeting schedule really screwed me up.
Today I spent the day on the phone trying to sort out some Boy Scout stuff. Gotta love it when you get an email telling you that they can't process an Eagle Scout application because something isn't right with the paperwork you sat with someone to review when you turned it in 2 months ago. Took me 3 phone calls to get it fixed! I was about to take some time off from work to drive down and sit in the office until it was done. The scout in question is OK, but we have another one that will be submitting his application next week and it HAS to get processed as he turns 18 on 3/10! After they put in all the hard work and time on their project and the application process there is no way I'm going to let a stupid little detail keep them from getting what they earned!
Tomorrow I have a vendor show all day, then Kevin has a basketball game. So, that's shot!
Will try again next week!https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

TKD
45 minute classes Weds., Thurs., Fri.
XFit workout
AMRAP in 12 minutes of 10 pullups and 15 second sit and tucks
Did 6 rounds assisted.
I inherited 2 new platforms to manage at work. They are a frigging mess, so I haven't left my building for lunch. Nor do I see an end until I can get them under control. So, going to Xfit workouts. I can do them when I can fit them in and if I miss one it won't screw up the whole programming. And it will have me doing something, which is better than what I managed the last couple of weeks!https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

WOD
AMRAP in 10 minutes 185 lb DL 5 reps, 100 m sprint
Scaled it to 65 lb and did RDL since I don't DL. Did 9 rounds.
Cardio
1.4 mile walk in the neighborhood
It's been 50 out the last 2 days! Yesterday we were too busy to get outside, but today Kevin, Bill and I took a walk in the hood while Mike was at my brother's playing a game. It's his reward for pulling a 5 hour waiter shift at the Elks Lodge last night for Boy Scouts. It's the first he's done anything like that. I think it's safe to say being a waiter has been crossed off his list of potential jobs.https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

WOD
OH squats - 3, 3, 3, 3, 3
I did the bar. Kind of. I can't get down to parallel with the bar yet. I do great with my bo staff, but once I put the weight on it's a totally different ball game. That said, my last couple of sets were way better than the first couple, so I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon.https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

I love OHSing and include them in my program. One of my goals is to do the Dan John 15. So far, my best has been 3x75. I'm not sure if there is an increased risk of injury or if they even add anything to a program. But they sure are a bada** gauge. You have to be pretty athletic, overall, to get 'em done.

TKD
45 minute class
Meh. I was out of it. We were doing our form and I got about 10 steps into it and realized I don't know what the fuk I was doing, but it wasn't the form. I've been stressed with work and then only getting a few hours sleep on top of that. I need to get to bed early tonight because Kevin has a 7 am dr. appt. and we test tomorrow night at 8. I can't fuk up the form during the test. Well, I can. But I can expect to stay a purple belt.
Something has to give soon. Work is insanely busy. Things will pick up with the kid activities in the spring as Mike starts track and Kevin starts soccer. Plus we have to get to TKD. And there is a ton of stuff going on with Boy Scouts. I have an Eagle review next week, and another one coming soon. I'm hoping work gives. It's the one piece I do not enjoy.
vvv This. Assuming you use proper form and load, there is no increased risk. You could just as easily blow your back or a knee on a squat using poor form.
