Same here. One of the reasons I got into lifting heavy was because I watched OP's videos back in the day.

    Thanks for the inspiration, Bien.

Thanks for clearing that up? You can feel good on what you do all you want. What doesn't feel good is soft tissue injuries from lifting weights like in a way that looks like it is your first day in the gym. I was just suggesting, since this is something you enjoy, to back off a little to ensure longevity under the bar. Your technique is horrible man. You will be lucky to just sustain a career ending injury as opposed to just flat out killing yourself.

Having people ask you if you compete in anything doesn't mean jack $hit if you don't have the balls to actually compete in something. I'm not trying to be a dick here but if you haven't competed, then there is a reason for it.

i always cringe when i see people load the bar on bench press and then there spotter touches the bar throughout the rep from the first rep.

how much do you bench without the spotter touching the bar? i have yet to see a video like that on your channel brah

after i got injuired with my pec n delt area, i did light benching with the smith machine n slowly worked my way back up several months later, meanwhile i worked on my back n arms more to get it ready to handle the weight again and legs twice a week, its all a learning experience, i dont regret anything but not having a good spotter, all my bench injuries are from missing the hook by 1/4 inches while i got one up on the hook locked, i swear i heard the bar hit the other hook n locked up but it slipped and causes all my strength to hold n push back up the other side of the barbell after serious sets of heavy benching, my pec, delt area are nearly done.

You will be lucky to just sustain a career ending injury as opposed to just flat out killing yourself.

Having people ask you if you compete in anything doesn't mean jack $hit if you don't have the balls to actually compete in something. I'm not trying to be a dick here but if you haven't competed, then there is a reason for it.
of course if you ignore it, you can continue to get hurt and just lift out of competition
