Looking like Tarasenko LTIR then they have to figure out what to do about Steen's since he retired. Solid pickup though especially since TB was in on it because of Kucherov.

Stutzle has looked amazing so far but hes averaging 30 min a night as a foward cause of the missing players because covid, So stocked we got him over Byfield, he has looked like complete trash.

it's the WJC with no crowd after months of layoffs and little practice for all the kids involved, calling boom/bust at this point is a fool's errand

besides, compare stuetzle this year with byfield next year, byfield is younger, in a depth role and he's not expected to step into an NHL role right now. they're 2 totally different players at different stages of development

don't get me wrong, i really like stuetzle and the kid wants the world on his back but it's the WJC...

As a Caps fan, I am sorta okay with it. More so the Chara move. Lundy probably wasnt going to start anyway. Kovy was a dissapoinment though. Orpik worked out really well for the team.

The league is moving faster and less aggressive. Chara will be benched for Siegenthaler.

Orpik worked for a season which resulted in a cup. Can’t complain about that. Had that not happened, it would have been remembered as an albatross contract.
