welp installed the ebay exhaust today and i'm disappointed with it. sounds horrible, and in one spot it keeps hitting my floor. only plus it the headers.
really wanting to cut of muffler and weld on stock. i will say it was worth it for the piping atleast.

^For the above Accord...do yourself a favour and sell those wheels, and instead drop it on some small, lightweight wheels = faster car. Those look like generic trash from Canadian (Crappy) Tire no offense.
I had a JDM SiR-T Accord come through work the other day...I'd love to import a JDM Honda...IT-R, CT-R, Accord SiR/Type R, Prelude Type S/SiR Spec, etc. Heck, I was discussing with a co-worker whose also a Honda guy and he showed me the old EBP EM1 SiR he used to own and it really ignited my love for these things. lol
I missed an opportunity to get my hands on a genuine 1990 Civic SiR (RHD) that someone here was selling for $1500. No rust. Original B16 vtak in it.
I'll need 10 grand though for any of those when all is said and done with the whole importing process. 10g's at the very least.
For half that I could get something LHD like a EP3 SiR, swap a K20Z1 in it, coilovers etc. for <$6k. Or save up a bit more and get an S2000.

No, it never reached the US. There is a Type S version in the US which is basically a mild Type R. The brakes aren't Brembos, motor isn't as powerful, no Recaro seats, but I think it's pretty close. Haven't driven a Type R so I'm not sure how similar they really are.
The DC5 is no where near as popular as the DC2 chassis in the tuner community. People do mod them, but they never reached the popularity of the DC2.

the JDM DC5-R has like 220hp
the Type S/SiR Spec 97-01 Prelude's also have similar power but ~200lbs heavier as a vehicle. Although that weight is quite easy to shed as those cars got equipped with unnecessary things in order to be appealing under the Honda Verno marketing scheme back in the Clio/Primo/Verno days.
dat proper done up K series though...doesn't matter what Honda chassis it's in.

if i recall correctly its how the suspension geometry changed in relation to frame...lowering the rsx had more adverse effects than the ITR
could be wrong about that...
anyways...in regards to its tuner popularity..none of that matters...i slammed my rsx without a thought of the above...its a vehicle i used to get to work, school, etc not a race car

Incorrect. It's because the RSX (subsequently all of the DC5 gen Integra/EP gen Civic) uses a MacPheson strut design, as opposed to the much better double wishbone, similar to what was used on the NSX/Accord. Slamming a car negates any effect of either, and renders it roughly pointless.
GEH, haven't heard that outside of Honda-Tech. Buy an S2000, I did and haven't looked back.United States Marine Corps [Sep. '01 - Mar. '13]

In.
Bought a dc2r rolling body for 1k off a mate. Picking it up in a couple days.
Engine was taken out for forging and body was sent away to get dents removed and painted but then he lost interest in the car.
So I got it, dents removed, body primerd, just needs to be painted. And an engine out in. I could have bought the forged motor but it's built for turbo setup so lower compression and I want to stay n/a.
Picking up a complete b18c in about 2 weeks, and maybe later throwing on a b16a head with the itr intake manifold and cams I already have.
Came with heaps of spares like an extra gearbox, semi slick tyres, aftermarket exh manifold, adjustable suspension, etc.
Only going regular b18c (180hp version) over b18cr as their about a third of the price and I already have the type r cams and such.
Going to paint it the dc2r yellow (forgot what it's called).
Should be all done in the next 4 weeks.Always pick 4 crew.
