Hory chit, Pedrosa got some balls back. Going by the brake markers I'd say that's about right, fuk that's scary.
Unless that typhoon whips the track with rain and wind I think it's a foregone conclusion Marquez is going to take the title in Motegi.Last edited by thisisian; 10-10-2014 at 06:09 AM.

braille makes a nice carbon fiber battery. i hear you like that.
also, seems like i read that you spend a lot on mods to your bike, but now you don't have money for repairs? should neg you for the strong upgrade budget:maintenance budget ratio. 2 wheeled equivalent to 24" spinners and a hole in the exhaust.
i had an interstate battery go bad in about 18 months in the GTO down here. interstate gave me prorated discount on the new one. heat fries 'em though.Axe, author of "No Limits - No Regrets"

Per Pedro's FB, T11 - 177 mph down to 113 mph in 130 meters on 11% downward slope - all on one wheel, then further down to 56 mph at the apex. Heroic.

hehe tymen
I like where the SV is now but there's still so much I want to do that would make it look really sick.
- gsxr front end
- get rid of the poverty DIY fender elim which was supposed to be temporary until I buy a proper/clean one (but its been 2 years now lol)
- nice rearsets
- nice levers
- penske shock
pretty expensive list... Idk if its worth putting into the sv or saving up for a nice newer bike. But I got so much life shiet going on that I dont even think about buying parts/bikes... just ride whenever I can and worry about spending money on nice stuff when I finally "make it".Last edited by pwoL; 10-10-2014 at 08:45 AM.

so you've been to daytona too? sadly, when i rode the first chopper i built in FL 100 mi to daytona, a guy complimented me on the road grime strip up my back because he knew i'd actually ridden it there and not trailered it.
i didn't build OCC garage queens, mine got ridden. just rode the gripper 1200 miles to daytona last fall. alternator died and had to haul it back, but 1200 miles on a garage build ain't so bad.
carbon fiber must be the chrome equivalent in sport bikes. looks cool, doesn't make it more dependable.

Nice fuarkin bike. The first bike rally I went to was Americade up in Lake George, NY. I rode behind my uncle who trailered his bike up. It's a 1970s customed out Honda that pisses oil lol. I had a decent time there but haven't been to any other rallies since and really have no desire to go to another.
The best is sportbike stuff that is painted to look like carbon fiber but actually isn't. You can buy fenders, fender elim kits, mirrors, chain guards, etc all painted up with no legit usage other than aesthetics. I can't really blame the manufacturers or the guys who buy them because everyone wants nice looking things.

asked a buddy of mine in jax one time if he wanted to go to daytona with me. he's a real biker, and he said "no, i hate the smell of new leather."
you mean looking like carbon fiber doesn't make things faster? say it ain't so. next thing you'll tell me is a 3' spoiler on the trunk doesn't always add downforce.Axe, author of "No Limits - No Regrets"
