what do you think, they just burned all there research, they stopped development, that doesnt mean they lost their buildups. they would merely need a little longer to develop them. And your nuke theory sucks hard. America only had 2 developed when it bombed Japan, and the only reason they went down was because they had no ally and thought we had more. Germanys new found territory was much larger and would be like bombing russia twice, it would do nothing. Plus in this genious example of yours, Japan is still in the war, and would get atomic weponry from Germany, aswell and the allies getting it from the USA. It would have been a nuclear war with no victors

Hitler didnt attack the Soviet Union because he "got pissed". He attacked the USSR because he was cocky and overconfident. Both of those character flaws were the direct cause of the eventual Nazi defeat.

That does not detract from what Russia did during WWII, as without their stiff oposition on the Eastern Front, the allies would not have been able to take out Germany.

What really did in Germany was the brutal Russian winter, which handed an as s whoopin' to Napoleon as well.

The Russians were badas s in the sense that they were able to do what they did, while being sorely under equipped on the ground.

Per battle, a certain percentage of its troops deployed, represented the SS.

Against the Canadians - 47% SS
Against the British - 24% SS
Against the Americans - 14%

700 years is about right. Rome fell in around the 400 AD mark (this is disputed about when they actually 'fell'). and they got pretty large around 300 BC.
