Boom, what in god's name are you doing with those chinups? I'm not trying to be an ass (just comes naturally I guess) but just go do pullups and chinups, if you can do 1 then do 1 and build from there. There is NO advantage to getting up there and doing those quarter reps or whatever that is, srs. Just GO DO PULLUPS. You're pretty strong so I find it hard to believe you really can't do these only weighing 145lbs. Those looked like my disaster of an attempt to do one legged bb lunges - brb falling over, people running and screaming, alarms going off. Do you have an assited pullup station? That may help, I've used that when I've been injured and had to work my way back into these. Seriously just do them before you develop some kinda muscle imbalance.

this is pretty much what I was thinking. I weigh less but I'm not as strong and I (at one time) got 8 or 10 good form neutral grips. Chins. Pulls. Whatever you will call the same grip you had. If I could get to photobucket I would post that vid but perently they are boycotting Amazons

I'll take those powers. Tried pullups today yea there not much better, got one and a bunch of negatives. People these were post workout ya know for the funnese! Not supposed to be serious. Just to see where I stood. Seriously pullups do piss me off though I've tried the assisted machine meh feels a lil like a ride. Everybody smiled right, ok my job here is done. Cause I'm sore as fuk! Yes I may be doing the happy dance right now!!!! Yes it does seem easier, theres a certain point when the weight just flies up. I can tell though it is going to take me a while to bust into the 225 range that's ok I will be patient. Gonna stick 135-185 until I can be more consistent and no back rounding then move up.

(cross your feet and have him hold your foot)

*That is how the crossfitters do them because thats what the miltitary uses alot of. Thats how I learned them in the military. But another food for thought is the thing about body weight excercizes some people dont realize is alot of it is fast twitch muscle instead of strength. Got to have the explosiveness plus a little strength and being a little skinny does not hurt either ha.
