    Nice M5 brah, any issues with it?

    Looking at getting one here too, the white one got sold a day before I went to get it.

    When I first bought it, the CCC stopped working within 2 days. I had the dealer I bought it from replace it for me. Been fine since. She gets a little thirsty on oil, about 1 litre every 1000 miles.

    There were some issues with the car not starting up (all electronics on though) which couldn't be found by the main BMW dealer nor an independent specialist. First the CAS module was replaced but it was no good so I had requested the battery to be changed which fixed all problems lol.

    Last issue is my SMG pump. From what I've heard, it should take about 6-7 seconds for it to prime up when unlocking the car but mine takes about 20 so I'm assuming it's on its way out. Was looking for a whole new SMG pump but miscer Ace Thedics advised only the motor should need changing.

    These cars are quite fragile lol but very enjoyable to drive. Try looking for a later model (2009-2010) which tend to have less problems than the earlier models. Good luck with your search

    Thanks brah, just found an 08 with 32k miles and all services up to date with one owner.

    Gonna go and see it this weekend, hopefully it all works out well.

    You guys think I should stage 2 my 09 335 coupe?

    I have a Cobb stage 1 tune now and it pulls pretty hard but I want more. I'd have to get downpipes and an FMIC first.

    Just concerned about having to pay for uninstalling the parts to take it into the dealer for warranty work when sh*t breaks

    I had a 2010 E90 335i. Had Cobb Accessport, AFE filter, AA dp, and cat delete done 2 days after I picked up the car new from dealer.

    Just had to remove Cobb for warranty work. If you need to remove FMIC every time you head in for warranty repairs, forget it lol.

    Hey BMW crew, doing an essay on BMW and I'm trying to get or build a pie chart that compares BMWs sold or even revenue generated per region. Such as USA vs China vs Germany etc etc. The year is irrelevant but within the past 4-5 years would be nice.

    Can't seem to find that info anywhere

    The 09 still has the N54 (twin turbo). 2010 has the N55 (single turbo). N55 is supposedly more reliable.

    N54 common issues:

    -HPFP partial or full failure. BMW has the 10 year/120k mile warranty on this.
    -Turbo/wastegate rattle
    -Injectors
    -Oil filter gasket
    -Water pump

    For worry free go with CPO. If you want to roll the dice a PPI is a must.

    Did you change or take off your wheels recently? It's a common problem after installing new wheels. If the lugs are evenly torqued the rotor hats will warp a little.

    If not then it could be wheel bearing.
