He has a ton of weapons and a great defense and almost lost to the no Herbert no Keenan chargers

Quite simply, he’s a trash can

He’s second in QBR to purdy by .1 The fact that he’s even remotely close is laughable given the two situations. Could you even imagine Allen with mccafrey, kittle, deebo, and aiyuk. Not to mention an upgrade at line and OC. Allen clears him easy.

Let’s move to Lamar. For reference he is 8th in QBR. While he has a good record. He has the #1 defense by a wide margin. Buffalo is 4th, SF 3rd. But Baltimore is 1.4 points ahead of second which is quite significant. Allen has a better TD to turnover ratio by a good margin. Allen responsible for 83% of Buf TDs to Lamar’s 52% Allen clears easy

Dak. 2nd to Allen in EPA and 3rd in the league in QBR. First worthy qb contender. But comparing weapons obviously cowboys have better weapons. The lines aren’t comparable. Allen is pressured far more than dak. 3% more. Tbf purdy does too. But Allen doesn’t have the weapons the other qbs have to go through progressions so quickly.

The bills second most targeted play is Gabe Davis and Kincaid a rookie tight end tied. It’s laughable. Every team in the nfl is at 15+ drops except the 49ers, who have 7. The ravens have 18, bills 27, cowboys 32.

If you wanna give the mvp to cmc or tyreek it’s a harder argument, cause of different positions. But Allen clears those 3 qbs with ease. He doesn’t have the #1 defense. Or an all pro offense like purdy. Dak is more comparable but statistically and eye test Allen still outshines him in a worse situation.

He was the reason they lost to Denver with 12 men on the field? He gave up 29 points to mac jones? He was the reason for suspicious reffing and an all time great field goal in Philly?

Sure he lost the team some games. Because he doesn’t have the cushion and margin for error the others do. He is tasked with doing so much more than everyone (minus Mahomes)

And don’t bring up interceptions without mentioning he has the most total touchdowns.

It’s almost like most stats are reflected in the eye test
