Do any of you think these rich people own all of these cars? Even the richest of the rich know cars are the worst investment ever. Most rent if they're going to some big event( because most aren't pure car entusiast). It really just depends on the person. You are a car enthusiast OP, remember that.
Btw a UGR lambo or an AMS gtr would be all I'd ever need and be the best of both worlds.

yes SOME are. things like a E34 M5 that is 100% untouched and stock is worth some cash now. or an E30 M3 yeah its worth a lot and its value has risen over the years however a car like a F430 ferrari or some POS G35 is not worth chit compared to new price. You can find an F430 for 80 grand +/- and a 360 can be had for 50-60 if you look hard
Very select cars that have huge auto industry history/impacts are going to bring cash. If you arent investing in classic stock muscle cars like 442's and 67-68 camaro's then dont count on making cash on it."Many want to wear the beret, few want to carry the rucksack"

an investment in an asset is an investment even if you accept it will bring a loss which is most cars. There clearly is a market for high end automobiles and they are the positive investments out there, but if you are buying those chances are you really dont need to worry to much about how much you'll make off the car down the line since you should be fairly well off already.

lets put it this way...if you're driving the car it's most likely not an investment. I'm talking about real investments, like mint Hemi Cuda conv't's or Ferrari 250's. Cars that are old but stay in the 30k's or 40k's are not really investment label in my book.

yeah he had his R34 set up like the Mines R34, twin low mount HKS 2530s, tuned for response and handling, not outright power, had ~500hp at the wheels which is pretty low for a GTR that has had $80+k spent on it, but you need to spend alot if you want reliability, plenty of support mods ect.
Some people think you can just spend 10, maybe 15 thousand if they have to on over night parts from Japan, and have a reliable 1,000hp

no look at the door to fender, the gap, the fact that they take a 18yr old car and piece it together with a g35 front yes while inventive doesnt go together at all. it looks like chit. the wrap is gay as furk. the wing and the purple wheels. WTF is this fast n furious 2001?

If i was rich, I wouldnt go build a 240sx or anything. Those are meant for cheap fun cars for the car enthusiast who cant afford alot. Same thing goes for Fox Body Mustangs. I would love to go buy a C6Z06 and build the motor and slap on twin turbos. A 1000RWHP Corvette would be the ultimate fun car.
