Can You Become Snapchat Best Friends Through Chat?

Alright so it's a bit tricky but here's what I've gathered (100% fact based on research)(DEAD SRS):

If you do nothing but solely CHAT with someone, you CANNOT become best friends. You must each send at least 1 snap to one another, even if you talk 8 hours per day for a week straight - if neither of you send a snap then you won't be 'best friends'.

You have to do a combination of chatting AND sending/opening their snaps for them to be BF's with you. It's much harder for someone to end up as best friends if you only use one contact method.

BUT if you DO chat all day for 8 hours, etc. THEN send/open 1 snap from them, they will automatically jump into your BF's slot. So that's how someone new can quickly pop above everyone else.


(I only know this because I spent literally the entire summer playing these Snapchat games with a bunch of Tinder girls, and my main girl took snapchat very seriously (100k snap score), and said if we ever stopped being best friends (hearts) - if someone else took her spot - then she would know it's over between us (srs))

This. Go to settings, manage preferences, friend emojis. I read somewhere that snapchat purposely keeps things vague so that people talk about it trying to figure things out which creates more hype for the app.

He likes attention. I guess he likes me a little bit but not a lot. I talk to many other guys but still enjoy talking to him even though our interest levels vary. In dating interest levels just vary all the time until you find someone who is equally interested and then you can start a relationship, but until that happens I don't mind talking to guys with varying interest levels.

More like, the fact that she responded, and didn't immediately aware him about the guy contacting her, is why there's a reason to worry.

Boundaries are for yourself, not the other person as you can't control what someone else does. You can tell her that you are not ok with it, and then if she does it anyway it's up to you to walk away if it's not ok for you.

Ask her why they can't just send the pictures through her texting client and she can save the ones she wants to keep. Phones have plenty of space, she could store millions of pics of that guys dog. If she can't do this, then IDK brah.
