yeah man idk. worth looking into! keep the hair, if you get hate from agencies (and you will, I get hate for hair touching my ears) think about pros/cons. with that being said, other companies will hire you FOR the long hair. like head and shoulders for men, or for chit where it doesn't matter i.e. colognes.

it's a gamble. get headshots from a reputable photographer who specializes in headshots. a headshot portfolio is 2 pics of you. they typically cost $150 and up. don't go cheap, if you see them for $50 don't waste your money. $150-200 is a good starting range.
then you need to get a comp card, which is a big index-like card with a headshot on the front and 4 "action shots" on the back. action shots can be anything such as you playing the guitar, lifting, or even just a full body shot of you wearing nice clothes.
after you have the headshots and comp cards, you submit them to agencies either online or in open calls. if you get signed then your agents should find you work. if they don't get you work, you drop them and get a new agent. it's a shady and chitty business, you will be told "no" a lot.
