I dont advocate surgery (i.e. gastric bypass) to lose weight, on the contrary I am DEAD SET AGAINST IT. I commend you for losing all this weight and having too much loose skin sometimes, surgery is a necessity. After I presume years of "abusing" your body Im sure you have loose skin. You may be able to tone it up, or maybe you have too much saggy skin to even tone it up back to normal as your skin is too stretched out.
Good luck and congrats ! I applaud everyone who does this WITHOUR WL SURGERY !!!

Wow man that's awesome! Congrats on your accomplishments and I hope your interview with the sheriff's office goes well! 3 years ago I passed all my law enforcement exams but unfortunately where I live I couldn't get my commish without moving all the way across the state, and all my hard work went down the tubes. I was going through a divorce at the time and couldn't leave my son.
Best of luck and keep up the good work!!

Lets hope not.
Thanks.
That actually is one of my biggest concerns, but since my focus is not just on losing weight, but getting stronger and lifting, I will have a lot of motivation to go to the gym always.
Good luck to you. There were people there who were pretty out of shape when I took the physical abilities test, and I am really glad that I trained so hard in preparation for it, because I was ready.
Thanks guys.
Don't worry about the past, lets think about what we are going to do in this coming year.
Really I am nothing special.

THANKS, THANKS, THANKS!!!!
Yeah, people who haven't seen me in a while don't recognize me, its really cool, like being a new person and having a new life. I wish my example had worn off on my family, but the truth is that it hasn't. They are facing the same problems I faced and eat for the same reasons I did. I try to help my sister especially, she and I are very similar.
Gastric Bypass, or any other kind of weight loss surgery was never an option for me. Not only am I not a fan of surgery, but the economics were not favorable anyway had I chosen that path.
Terminator!!! I like that.
Sorry to here that. Its not too late though, do you still think about a career in law enforcement?
Thanks guys......lol
I AM LEGEND
Thats a great goal. I think that will be my goal too for 2008, to drop about 40 pounds of fat.

I'm pretty sure I said I was going to rep you but I was on re-charge.
I'm fairly sure I'm charged now so I'm repping you.
I've never been that big(never been over 20%), but that doesn't matter. You're a damn good inspiration to the obese people losing weight AND the people just trying to get leaner.
I give you the best of luck to finish your goals(I don't think you even need it) and the best of luck becomming a cop!

Beat it into submission. Sounds good to me.
Yeah it does seem nuts.
Don't just dream, do whatever it takes to reach your goals.
Thanks a lot, I was hoping to inspire a few people by showing that rather embarrassing picture.
Thanks man, and great job on the weight loss to you too.
I certainly hope everything works out, I want it badly.
I feel unbelievably good, like a load has been lifted from my shoulders (and ass )
Thanks.

True, but the majority of the public thinks skinny fat is healthy. Everyone is so obsessed with scale weight and not body fat. I am kind of surprised that Jared didn't bulk up a bit, though. Seems that it would be in the best interest of Subway to tell him to. Maybe they want him to look like the average joe, though. Who knows? Jared lives pretty close to me and lost his weight down at Indiana University. I hear he makes like $400K doing commercials and going to store openings and whatnot. It's probably a pretty good gig.
I am amazed that TheKansan was able to lose as much as he as and still built LBM and strength. That is the remarkable part. Most people's bodies would be a wreck after losing weight that fast.My Will Is Hot Molten Lava
