A clean M3 or IS350 will impress 1st dates imo, they're not extravagant cars, but it's enough. I don't see many clean BMWs or Lexus around here. Better yet, he can add some minor tasteful mods. Bright colors like Orange, Green, or purple is a must, some nice wheels, lip and side skirts, and stanced will be a huge difference. Lexus would be the safer option because of cheaper maintenance. Depending on the city, your average joe is in a Honda, Impala, or Nissan.
