Ok,
You should try and obtain a football bar if possible. Its pretty handy now having a nice setup mate, youll be able to go downstairs at night and train whenever. Those arms will just continue to get bigger~~~~~~~~~~

Not making any more bar purchases for now.
I don't on really adding anything I don't already have on the list, I might a few months from now, but I got get situated with what I have first.
I was considering getting a really thick squat bar, but it seemed kinda silly because they aren't allowed in real competitions. If I was a bb'er I would have gotten a thick bar though.

Beltless Squats
95x10
165x5
225x3
275x1
325x1
365x1
385x1 <---- form wasn't too good since I haven't really seriously lifted in 2 weeks
Reverse band deadlifts (average band?)
up to 565x1
615x0 (lol testing the waters)
maybe ~70 lbs less off the bottom, and ~30 lbs less off the top
thoughts
even though bands are silly, they are fun.
bodyweight down into the mid 160's and not that strong right now, its okay though, will get it all back soon enough.

Bro, mirin home gym set-up. I'm scared of the gains you will be making. Plz stay safe though.
Speaking of which, I have a slight pull in the upper middle area of my left glute that gives me a sharp pain every now and then and feels tight while squatting or deadlifting and seems to be getting gradually worse. I just started high rep GMs with the bar today and it felt pretty good for perceived recovery purposes. Anything else I should do?Planted like a tree beside the river of truth.

Ya, they are super fun.
If I was in the right mind I would have had 615 I think. Being like 165 lbs doesn't do much to help me either. Although who knows, I might actually end up being a stronger deadlifter at a lower weight.
I actually think that these reverse deadlifts can be of benefit for me though.
I'm gonna get too strong for my body and then the zionists will have to make me a new body to contain my power.
Sounds like you have the same thing I have. In my experience, its brought on by a certain form during the squat/deadlift, and once you hit the angle that causes the pain, its gonna be there for the rest of the workout. I haven't had much success avoiding the angle that causes it though. You're more coordinated and in tune with your body though, you might be able to pinpoint the exact angle of movement that causes the pain and then not do it.
Or it could be something completely different from what I have. I don't really have enough information to diagnose you, but I figure you know that.

IMO from seeing your deadlift over the years and sticking points, id say on a DE day or fast day, use 225 bar weight + 150lb band tension. At the bottom its only 40% (explosive strength) and at top will be 60-65% (speed strength).10x1. Explosiveness off the floor would be evident within weeks and youll be close to 600. Keep improving accelerating strength

Or they'll take your power.
Yeah I thought it had something to do with a specific angle/form but I can't find it or figure it out. The only time it really got bad was when I tried to deep tissue "smash" it against a plate holder branch on a plate tree at the gym (probably looked extremely homo while doing it) and it flared up and felt awful for like 10 minutes.
I'll probably just ignore it besides the high rep barbell GMs a couple times a week.Planted like a tree beside the river of truth.

BW = mid 160's
Floor Press with slingshot and 35 lbs of chain at the top
315 + 35 x 3
345 + 35 x 0 (strength was there, just I didn't feel out the groove of the slingshot properly)
Dips
53x10
98x10
123x10
OH Press
115x10
135x9
45x10 each hand with kettlebell
thoughts
Probably gonna start only updating the log once a week, otherwise I will be spending way too much time on here, especially given that I'm gonna be training twice a day for squats on a lot of days.
