I have to admit there's just something raw about the unpredictability of the old muscle cars. It's usually a loud rattling mess of carb lag and terrible handling but the sound is killer when you hit that band of power!
The new cars feel so tight with both power and handling, but the predictability of how it's going to react when you do something is great for racing but not for shear excitement. My $0.02 is worth $0.03

so many geezers here in FL driving around in restored muscle cars - constant mirin
an obtainable 80s muscle car that is reasonable - Monte Carlo SS - always loved that box look

I definitely prefer the look of new cars over old school muscle cars.

Can't really compare the two honestly. Completely difference inside and out. There's a lot of hnnnngg old school cars, but there's also a lot of hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggg new school.
New school wins by default though. Heated/Cooled seats make my life 10x better.

Old school muscle is the best.
Our Oldsmobile convertible. Had a 1971 Chevy C-10 with a built engine out of a local short track racecar but sold that late last year.
