Dear Jesse, can I call you Jesse? Mr. Breasts,
You sir are an inspiration and fuarking awesome.I started reading your log as a former fatty myself (nowhere close though, but it had caused health issues nonetheless) around NYE 2015 while trying to find things to occupy my time after having quit the ganja which i'd been smoking for 10 years straight, daily. Not sure I woulda made it through the first week without your log as it kept motivating me to see you push and push and never give up.
As if that wasn't enough, it was your story that motivated me to finally start lifting (and now I'm hooked) and get back on the calorie-count train. So, for all of that, my heartfelt thanks.
Always wanted to reg just to give you a thumbs up and congratulate you on your journey. Keep going bro, never give up, never surrender. You've already made it but you're gonna keep making it, of that I'm sure!

Awesome job man, I know you were worried about a huge gain from going off the rails but like I told you, there's nothing the mighty wetty B can't do! Glad to see you came ahead for a great loss!

I stumbled on BB.com, misc and your original thread one day.
You motivated me to change my habits. You motivated me to lose weight, I have lost about 20 lbs in the last 10 weeks or so.
The self confidence I have gained from this is unreal.
I honestly read nearly every post from the first thread, you truly are an inspiration to many.
Lastly congrats on your change brah, we're all going to make it!

Update:
Sorry I haven't been around replying a lot this week. I decided to do something I haven't done before and take a week off for a vacation of sorts. I decided to not count calories nor gym it up since weigh in day till this Monday. I still have been playing racquetball but just wanted to take it easy for a week and not feel the guilt I always feel when I have unplanned binges. A new brewery also had opened a block or so away from me, so I had been wanting to check that out anyways and figured what the hell.
I had a couple out of control binge eating days where I got tons of calories. I am sure I am way over the weight I should be at now, but I feel like I can easily use the following 3 weeks before weigh in to get back where I need to be.
I also have a film crew coming by from a media company which I wont mention just yet, to do a mini documentary on my story. They will be here on the 23rd and plan to film me working out, cycling, grocery shopping, cooking, playing video games, and perhaps some racquetball. They will also be talking to my mother, a couple of my friends, and some people from my gym to get their perspectives. I am excited about it and of course, nervous as well.
Thats how my week has been, hope everyone has been enjoying the tail end of summer.(392.4 lbs pounds lost so far)

So... We on TV again? Can't wait to hear more when you can share.
Please organically fill any interviews with misc memes.
"Are you aware there are too many people in this world with severe medical conditions? I used to be one of them."
"I can confirm. It's possible to lose weight if you burn more calories than you consume."
"I enjoy listening to podcasts from the bee bee sea to hear global news when I work out."
Just some ideas brah.
I don't think it's bad you took time off everything. Sort of an extreme test. How will your body respond when you are forced down that path for a week or so, due to potential life interferences, etc?
Keep the end goal in mind. Do what you know works for you, but don't ever EVER let that week turn into two, or three, or four, etc.
Happy for you.

A week break isnt a big deal as long as you get right back on track when you planned to. Its when you get to the planned date and say,"meh, another day or two off wont hurt" is when you might run into a problem.
And i agree with above poster.. you must slip misc memes in there.. like a virgin slips his sausage into a freshly microwaved grapefruit. Actually that may be too aggressive. Slip the memes in there like a vegan slips the fact that they are a vegan into every conversation. Nah, thats too obvious as well. Just slip it in there jesse, nice and easy.

Glad to see you're still dedicated, and staying on course. Keep at it, man. And once you get to that weight, do what you can to sustain it. Don't fall back on old tricks. a bad week can easily transform into a bad 6 months, in terms of loosening the reigns. Remember all this hard work you put in.
I tip my hat to you, man. I lost around 200, and it was tough. You lost double what I did, and you're doing it the right way. Your story already has, and will continue to motivate so many. Cheers to you, m8Last edited by BunkMoreland; 09-18-2015 at 07:50 AM.

I wasn't aware of your story until I saw the documentary, but kudos to you. It's a really inspiring story and you should be really proud of what you've accomplished! Congrats!

Wetty, Q - Now that youre back amongst humans, and have seen both sides of the fence, you are somewhat an authority on the subject:
How should we view fat people?
Should they be pitied, or are they just lazy bums?
You can speak to the fact that being deathly obese is depressing and crushes all motivation. However, you are also a testament to willpower. The answer being "its not easy", but it can be done. If the argument for why you are fat is "its not easy to lose weight" then you firmly land in the lazy category.

Thank you so much everyone, me and my family have been choked up today after seeing what an amazing job the Bodybuilding crew did with the documentary they made of my story. It has made me relive so many of the powerful emotions I felt during my entire journey. No words can express how much it meant to me, and I can't even remember the last time a video made me cry, but I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
To everyone who has participated, followed, or even just shared in my trials and triumphs, I love the hell out of all of you.
Without any further ado, here it is in full:

Just got home and now I get to see this?!
Edit: Just finished, wow they did a real great job with that. I was thinking how they could make that without including that vid with your mom and then it popped up near the end there. Seems like it was just yesterday you started that first thread man.
I can't wait for the next vid where they interview people from your gym. Ya they mirinLast edited by Upshall18; 09-19-2015 at 12:38 PM.
