I had investigations run on a random (first 2 I saw) members up around 8500 and 9000. The results came back negative for mod reps in both. Not to say it doesn't happen in certain cases, because a random sampling can not confirm this, just to say it is not necessary for such an increase.

9000 rep powers/ (14 days x 5 per day) = 128
Meaning, the average person repping them has 128k, which is not hard to fathom considering they congregate in the same areas.

You can rep someone ~1.28 times in 2 weeks, btw. Spread is fitty.

Pretty fair math there. The ones I saw +10k seemed to be posting in chat threads where the average was a lot higher than 128k. The new spread must affect them now though.

Wish I knew what was going on lol. I joined here in 2011, MISC-ed for about 2 years before I stopped due to work commitments. Am back now, hopefully to stay lol. My mind is blown at so many high reppers running all around with join dates barely a year. Not gonna lie, I'm jelly whenever I see people who are less than 2 years and having about the same rep power as myself. In the past, a 1:1 or 1:2 post to rep power ratio was good, but now, it seems to not even scrap the bottom barrel.

Oh well. Life goes on.

Also, any welcome back reps would be appreicated, lulz. (inb4 negs)
