meh, they do play Tampa this week and Jacksonville next week.
$100
$100
$100
$120
$183
^FAAB $ spent on players this morning where nobody else bid
Additionally there were two $50 bids and two $20 bids for which there was no second bidder.
So nearly half the league bid $100 or more on a player that nobody else bid on

You're at a Stage 1 right about now. We're here if you need to talk.
In the meantime, you should definitely keep calling me foreign, democrat, etc.
Maybe someone in here will latch onto those and turn the conversation back on me.
Instead of this epic talk-big/accomplish-nothing course you're on.

Considering that it's supposed to be a surprise, he probably has to hustle this quite a bit.

Michael Ironside isn't playing a bad guy or adversary. Not since Top Gun.. Or Starship Troopers I guess.

It is what I'm hoping for. It is a hail mary, but one that at least has a shot to pan out.
There is an argument to be made for that trade. The universal 1st pick of 95% of the all drafts this year. He is off to a slow start, so it could be a buy low opportunity (although with him selling him, Hishy is still claiming full value and you'd have to wonder if he were trying to hedge and dump off McCoy before what he imagines is a down year).
You're also incredibly weak at RB with every RB at your roster being a back up who has been thrust into the starting role for the time being. None of them look poised to hold the position long term, except perhaps Taliaferro. Forsett is a scatback (a capable scatback, but a scatback none the less), Davis is only handy when JC is hurt, which doesn't seem like it will be past this week, next week at the latest. Asiata is a plodder and everyone is waiting for McKinnon to take over anyways.
You wouldn't totally cripple your receiving corps, but you'd do yourself no favors with the trade either. Losing who is one of the best fantasy receiver in the league and another very dynamic WR2? Steep price. You still have White and Green moving forward. But there is an argument to be made about doing Bryant for McCoy straight up or Bryant and a lesser player for McCoy.
/mythoughts (I'm bored and waiting for my poop to fully brew... you're welcome)
All I can think of when I see it is "Ann Perkins!"
Yeah, those 4 bids were all of mine. Wasn't sure if anybody was going to bid. Although I thought that if nobody else bid against you, you didn't get charged for it. Only your money was there to try to secure a victory.Last edited by chazzy1864; 09-25-2014 at 04:33 AM.
