Happy MONDAY Juggernauts!!
How is everyone feeling on this Monday and the new day of Daylight Savings time? I will admit, I had a difficult start to the day. As a matter of fact, I had a very difficult weekend.
I had soooo many plans this weekend and was looking forward to using my Juggernaut and training hard BUT, my SINUS INFECTION RETURNED! I was being treated for a severe sinus infection for the past two weeks and as soon as I finished my antibiotics, my infection came back with Vengeance!! I could barely move my head, I was dizzy, couldn't see straight and battled a bloody nose all weekend! Not my idea of how I wanted to spend my weekend. I was able to get a few power-walks in, so the entire weekend wasn't a total FAIL!!
AnyWHO....it's Monday, it's a NEW DAY, I'll call my doc and get a stronger antibiotic and I'll be on my way to recovery!!!
Just wanted to check in with everyone so you didn't think I forgot about you this weekend.

Sure, I get it! Here is a suggestion. If you don't have one, get a plastic neti-pot and follow the directions. It will help flush out your sinus area. If you are yellow/green, then you should get some antibiotics again.

Hope you feel better!
wow, another amazing tip I never knew... definitely good to know Keith. Thanks too (in case in the future, never know with nyc weather here)...
i guess walking helps, when i get sick though, walking gives me a worse headache afterwards..that or i end up more sore than i was. Different people, different immune system i guess. Just don't overdo it, you know?Henry Pun ---->>> http://www.********.com/iamhyp

Okay Juggernauts....lets play a little Q & A!!
What is the MOST IMPORTANT workout within an "Arms/Upper Body" workout and "Legs/Lower Body" Workout? In other words, when working your arms/upper body what is the ONE exercise you MUST ALWAYS DO and when doing your legs/lower body what is the ONE exercise you MUST ALWAYS DO to see GOOD RESULTS?
I'd love to get everyone's opinion on this. I'm always looking for the VERY BEST exercises to incorporate into my workouts and leave the "NOT SO IMPORTANT" exercises out so I can get the most out of my workouts in the LEAST amount of time. Hey, I'm the mom of 4 and work full time...so time is very important and somewhat limited for me.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone's input is.

Suz, that's 2 awesome questions...
Personally, I think the ONE exercise that works arms & upper body is Close Grip Bench Press (I personally do this on a Smith though, preventive measures as I have no training partner & you can also use more weight as well for growth) ..... works your triceps and chest.
Legs & Lower body, have to say Squat, it's the most basic yet effective mass gaining for lower body. I personally like Leg extensions and Leg Press more though but that's 'cause I'm weak, lol! ..
I look forward to others answer to that as well, definitely good to know! it's hard to choose just ONE though however. Best of Luck to you again...&... look forward to your progress/updates!Henry Pun ---->>> http://www.********.com/iamhyp

Hi Suz! Welcome to the challenge. I just signed up and looking through your post, wow, you're a great inspiration! Mother of 4? Wowee! I hope I have just as much energy as you when I have my kiddies one day =) For protein, one of the things I do is eat fish. It doesn't has much protein as chicken so you need to eat more but it's great so that you don't get tired of chicken altogether. Make sure to drink at least a gallon of water! My trainer just got me in a new diet that consisted of more carbs so carbs doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing! I'm actually enjoying it because I'm a lot stronger to complete my workouts. Hope that helps =)

Thanks for all the great input Juggernauts!! It's nice to see what others workouts look like or consist of.
I must say that my FAVORITE...MUST-DO exercise for lower body are Squats and I usually always incorporate them along with leg press, extensions, and curls. My FAVORITE...MUST-DO exercise for upper body is the bench press. I also LOVE the LAT PULLDOWN!
Ok, gotta get to work. I'll check in later guys!

Love my squats too girl! I love it cuz the squat rack I always use is right infront of a mirror and window ( great lighting) it motivating to watch myself, to be proud of the progress I have made, but be motivated by wanting bigger, better legs :-P Sounds funny I know but hell, there are mirrors in a gym for a reason

Buenos Dias mi familia de Juggs!!! How is everyone this fine morning! Why am I so perky and chipper? Well, it has been 70 degree weather here all week...and our normal for this time of year is around 50 degrees. Sunshine and high of 80 today, that's what I'm talking about!! Not to mention it stays brighter longer at night which means I get to take a nice walk before calling it a day!
I started my morning off with some delicious turkey sausage, and egg white and some awesome diet green tea! Yeahhhh buddy!
Hope everyone has a fantastic morning, I'll be back around noonish to check in.

Now, go get your self some good green tea (Diet Snapple is pretty good) and have a GREAT day!!

TGI FRIDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! Yes Juggernauts, we've made it through another week! I plan on hitting the gym early tomorrow morning and working my legs and glutes. Then, I can play the rest of the day. It's supposed to be beautiful this weekend. I'm hoping the sun shows itself today, it's a bit glum right now and you know this girl LOVES THE SUN!!
I'll check in with everyone later.

My 'vacation' is over tomorrow so will start working again.. things are going to change for sure, workout wise... not so much workout but nutrition.
anyways, thanks..you have a great weekend too!Henry Pun ---->>> http://www.********.com/iamhyp

Best exercises.
If you want to maximize the short time you may have in the gym, you new basic compound exercises.
Legs - squats, leg press
Chest, tri - bench, incline bench
Back, bicep - chins or pulldowns, seated row, (if you can do good form - deadlifts)
Shoulder, tri - military or behind neck press
However, most people neglect the smaller muscles -- calves, hamstrings, forearms, abs--------------------------------------------------------------
