I never said that Phil didn't deserve his Olympia wins..... I don't care for Phil, and prefer Kai's physique. But, Phil did deserve to beat Kai in both 2012 and 2013. Not because he's a better bodybuilder, it's because Kai failed to nail his conditioning on pay day. Even in 2012, Kai sacrificed too much muscle and flattened out. 2013 he held too much water. Phil beat him both times, fair and square.
But I will say that Kai looks better than Phil 364 days a year, but seemingly never on the day it counts. I believe he gets stressed out, and his cortisol levels go up. That's the kiss of death for a bodybuilder. Phil doesn't seem to get as stressed out??? Maybe he's just more confident??? Your childhood can play a huge role is this stuff, cause it's rooted in your subconscious. I'm sure Phil had a more stable childhood than Kai.

Hmmm...I always thought Kai was the more calm, centered, composed bb. I also thought he said he was into zazen (the study of the self), which is the form of meditation at the heart of zen practice/meditation.
Kai just seems like someone who would be able to keep his emotions in check come game day but I could be wrong. Of course there is immense pressure on both Phil and Kai, just as there was on Ronnie and Jay during their countless battles.THE LEVRONE 2016 MR. OLYMPIA COMEBACK

Maybe like in many industries the science and innovation is just not there, so you remake the old stand by's with new flavoring. I don't know how many threads i have read where flavor is #1 criteria to the prospective buyer. As for the radio show, I listened to the entire show and found the last part tiring ( a crochety old guy whining about the current trends) in an overcrowded supp market. He used the line fart powder numerous times to disparage protein.?
They said all a kid needs is steak and eggs and slammed Phil and test boosters. The best part of the hour was the science of oids.

You know I agree that the chances of him losing the title have increased dramatically now. Do we know who the company is behind his line though? If he really broke his deal with the Weiders I can totally see them punishing him by "gifting" the Olympia to someone else. Sure as hell that wouldn't be Kai though, regardless of how amazing he looks. If Flex Lewis competed in the open they might give it to him.

This. I really don't see the problem. I don't see it as "preying" on teens whatsoever. Most standard supplements are the same or very similar anyways. You'd have to be stupid to think it's gonna give you all your gains.
His preworkout is basically caffeine with BCAA's....in other words, it's a pretty solid product, whether you wanna admit it or not. Would I pay the full retail price? Nope, but that doesn't mean it's snake-oil or that it sucks.

Definitely not.
I remember seeing a video of Phil's basement stacked with Celltech and other products. Im sure its all been cleared out now for Gifted stuff.
The same way Kai's kitchen has always got some Musclemeds Secret Sauce lying around.
I also provide this pic as proof:
Musclemeds released this as a before and after using their Carnivor products

Oh boy you're in for a surprise. Gaspari completely fell out of favor in the supp section. Sonebody did third party testing ages ago and gaspari completely failed on the protein listed. Either 50% or 17% as much as listed iirc
Once they were always recommended in the "recommend me the best protein powder" threads that are made daily. Now people will laugh at you and ask if you're joking if you doMS, Computer Science

Hate to open this can of worms lol. However, I do feel like mentioning that for all Heath's gifts and his metoric rise to the top, Kai did it even faster. Phil blew through the competition as a pro, but when Phil was just hitting his stride and winning shows, Kai was still getting 16th at the same show (colorado pro in 07 IIRC) and they were competiting on even ground a short time later, in the 09 area, where Kai had some wins over Phils and if they both peak right, they are close now as well. Kai has the better bone structure and some better body parts. Phil has more consistent conditioning which I imagine has some genetic elements and better muscle shape overall. They both blew up like crazy when they "needed" to, both have good shape and detail, genetically they are def close enough to be rivals.
