Got my 18" Titan Titanium wrist wraps in today. Compared them against a friends 20" Inzer Iron Zs, my old 12" APT strangulator/convict hybrids, and my Inzer True Black Knee wraps.
The Titaniums are very similar to the Inzer Iron Z's. The Titanium's are slightly stiffer, but you'd probably not notice the difference unless you compared them side by side. Titaniums have a thicker, more solid thumb loop. The true blacks have much stronger rubber than either of these wraps, and are thicker material (i'm assuming knee wraps and wrist wraps are made of the same material), but are still a "stretchier" wrap and not cast like. The hybrids are much stiffer than any of these wraps, but are just soft enough that you can crank them down. I'd say they probably only stretch half as much as the Titaniums.
What I did not like about the Titaniums is that the left and right wraps are identical (my left hand the wrap went OVER my wrist.... my right hand the wrap went UNDER my wrist). Not sure if thats a mistake of if they are all like this.
I like the Titaniums, and the 18s are about perfect length for me..... but i'd probably prefer a slightly stiffer wrist wrap.RAW ELITE OR DIE

See my post above. The Titan Titaniums are very, very similar to the Inzer Iron Z's. I wanted something a little stronger tho (I have a wrist injury from grappling) ... and I can assume that Strangulators are much stronger than Iron Z's.....so I just got a pair of 24" Inzer True Blacks. I LOVE them. They are made of soft, comfortable material, and can provide anywhere from light support to super tight to the point where my hands begin to fall asleep in a few seconds (and anywhere in between). If you dont want a "cast" but like a strong wrap.... I think these are the way to go. They are my favorite wrist wraps so far.
My old APT's have a left and right wrap so I can wrap both OVER my hands (which doesnt really matter, just habit from using them for 2 years).RAW ELITE OR DIE

Titan Titaniums feel a lot like the Z-wraps, just a little stiffer.
And the only wraps that I've used that have different thumb loops are APT's. Inzer, Titan, and Metal pairs all have the loops on the same side as the other.Meet: 440/248/485 = 1173@144 sp

I can't even use my elitefts ones most of the time. I think they're called Super Heavys or something. But I only want to use them when my wrists are really hurting, and usually getting the wrap tight enough for support, tweaks my wrist more while I wrap them. So they're more or less just an ornament in my bag anymore.

Sounds like you are wrapping your wrists wrong if they are tweaking your wrist as you wrap them.
Why would customs take a DVD? That is dumb as hell, but I guess some countries have silly customs. If you like a stretchy wrap I would recommend Titan's RPM wraps. I've had mine for about a year and they have held up great.Total's = Jan. 2012 - 1036 @ 198's

Look into rhinopowergear.com I would say these are pretty close to strangulators. My training partner has the 36 inch, and I steal them when ever I get a chance. I also use APT convict wrist wraps. Love to crank them down of heavy lifts, doubt they are instock though. My next wrap will be rhino's though.

EFS super heavy wraps are very very stiff. I have their 24" and don't even use them. I couldn't tolerate them when worn properly (aka fuggin tight). I'd give them to you but your across the country. Titan THP's is widely available and a good stiff wrap as well. Don't bother with Titan titanium, RPM, Inzer true black, iron-z or metal all blacks if you're looking for super stiff. EFS heavy is another option.

some countries restrict certain multimedia materials from being shipped into their country......it varies widely. Many countries ban any materials they deem "detrimental to their culture".......It's mostly with muslim countires but there are some european countries that are really strict
I work for Fedex Express and we have a book that we carry that lists all the countries and their prohibited items....so whenever someone wants to ship internationally we have to break out the book and make sure what they are shipping isn't prohibited by the recipient country

I hate my True Blacks with a passion. I wore them once and hated them so much I didn't wear any wrist wraps again for 2 years. Thought they were all like that. Not tight but just painful. But I guess I wasn't a gear whore back then. I might like them now. Still 36'' so too long for my lazy ass to crank
