got that Taft powder... do not like...
I dont know if my hair is too long for it or what, but it tangles the fukc out of my hair. makes it feel like a bish with a back comb and hair sprayed to hell. I could see it maybe being better on shorter hair (at least short than 4" or so)... dunno, maybe I am just styling wrong.

how do you guys decide on a haircut? My hair is pretty long right now (if hair came straight down it would reach bottom of my eye) but after looking at some of these pictures almost all of you and the hair styles posted are people with dark hair. My hair is blond and I just dont know if I could pull off any of these styles, also I have the worst facial hair genetics so any facial hair is out haha. Perhaps I'll get a pic up soon

That cut looks good on you. What clipper # do you use on sides and back?

Which Hanz De Fuko do you brahs prefer? Kinda looking to buy that Sponge Wax, but wondering if it's too great when it comes to hold and really hard to style with?

Also, to the bro above me, what kind of texture does Sponge wax have? Is it like American Crew Fiber? Pomade?

A barber knows how to cut a man’s hair. If you’re like most men these days, you’re probably going to some unisex chain salon like Supercuts. I used to do it too. Most of the time, I’d walk out of these places with a crappy haircut. Sometimes, my haircut would look decent for the first week or so, but then it would grow out into a horrible bowl.
The problem is that many of the people who work at salons are not trained barbers. They’re cosmetologists. The difference between the two can spell the difference between a dopey-looking haircut and a great one.
A barber is trained to cut with clippers, the main tool in cutting a man’s hair. Cosmetologists, on the other hand, are trained to use scissors. Their training is also geared towards catering to women’s hair. They become experts in styling, coloring, and perming- things a man has no need for. That’s why when you ask the cute stylist at SuperCuts to use the number 2 on the clippers, you walk away with a bad haircut. She’s probably not well versed in how to use them. But a barber can employ the clippers with finesse.

Has anyone here ever used hair cream? I haven't had much success with wax, paste, and gel. I've read that hair cream is good for people who have thick hair - which I do - as it effectively separates out the strands and makes it look a lot less clumpy, which is exactly what I want and need. Any brands you'd recommend?

So I got my hair cut today due to maintenance reasons at a salon in Rome, bish who cut my hair was damn good, probably best hair cut ive had, she was also mirin and said I looked like some Italian actor but I forgot his name lulz
Also picked up some Taft power gel opache for 4 bucks, its the best looking gel ive seen so far, doesn't make your hair wet and pretty cheap.
