So this is cute but why oh why isn't it dual pulley/handle/unilateral??? It's all there anyways (pulley on stack, cables, pulleys top and bottom...) just needed a small change. Then at least you could use the full 250 lbs for seated rows. I mean, they put that damn footplate down there, who's going to top out rowing 125? Inexcusable, I'm sorry.

I don't get it. The price takes it out of range for most home gyms but the single tower design doesn't seem like something gyms/training facilities would want. Too big/expensive for home use. Too limited for facilities. Right in the middle of neither market

I dunno, it seems more like 1/2 of a Functional trainer??, maybe it'd be used in box gyms as a single post functional trainer. Should be good for tricep pushdowns and overheads, along with a variety of other functional trainer type stuff, instead of a big cable crossover unit. It's not really a lat pull down, but maybe with a bench? It's definitely a head scratcher.

Agreed, I had an Impulse cable tower, very similar to Rogue's, with a big 330lb stack, it had been configured to join to an identical unit if desired. It would have made a great dual adjustable pulley unit, but as a single cable station it was only really useful for isolation work.

Don't care about the single stack at all. Would rather not have a dual cable... As it would not add function for me as I don't do cable crossovers. Would have been nice had it been in the 95 Inch range though as I would have gotten it. Also would be nice if it broken down a little don't think it really compromises integrity. Got a rock solid cybex that weighs almost 900 lbs and it broke enough that it could taken into basement with two people also it's only 8 feet tall. Frankly looks far more beefy than sorinex one which looks cheap by comparison though if factor in sure it's way more than the rogue.

This makes no sense. You wouldn't be able to do crossovers anyways. The idea with the dual handles as that you would lose NOTHING. And gain a ton, most notably the ability to use the entire stack weight, not only 50%.

At this point since I want to make my rack a full plus half monster rack... So rm6 plus the feet essentially and spotter arms... I don't know if it will be too much. Already got a lat pulldown and never used alot of cable machines even in commercial gym...to begin with more interested in getting my dbs to 150

Love all my rogue stuff. But running out of stuff I want to buy. Used to want an elitefts gym but after spending more time and looking at things glad I went rogue for sure. I just would have done all monster from the start.

I'm curious if there's any crossover to the weight stack they're supposed to release for the slinger.

Seems quite similar... But hard to know for sure. I assume rogue has had some issues as far as... The selectorized slinger. Its been teased forever...

They fixed the 2 things I hated about my Rogue utility bench, the excessive height and the stupid base design. But I already replaced it with the Rep one.....

Rogue would be higher quality on the welds and finish, but given zero functional benefits, you can be happy you saved almost 50%.

My post was poorly written--I meant that I never would have looked at the Rep bench but I hated the Rogue one; now that I have the Rep one I am perfectly happy with it. It came with a little paint scraped off a couple of the pieces of the frame, but as you note, better that than a bench that can't fulfill its 1 purpose. Now Rogue needs to move down the product line & fix the basic one, which is the one I had. the Monster bench is way overkill and too expensive for the average garage gym guy, IMO.

Well mine don’t look like that, but i haven’t been using them very much. Hopefully you are not slamming them down or overfilling them. I’d email rogue and ask them for replacement or credit if they were recently purchased.

They are virtually brand new. Been picked up and put down maybe 10 total times, never slammed....

Is there a specific type of sand you should use? The bagged play sand in my kids sandbox seems finer than the stuff the construction guys use.
