Food porn FTW
Eats booty like groceries crew
Almost everything--all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure--these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

Mix 2 TBS spicy mustard, 1/3 cup ketchup, optional 2 TBS Worcestershire sauce, 1 TBS apple cider vinegar, lots of cayenne, black pepper, cumin, chili powder, and paprika, and optional 1-2 TBS liquid smoke. (Note: if you have BBQ sauce, which I didn't, you can use that in replacement for ketchup and the spices-- the ketchup+spices serve as my homemade BBQ sauce). Coat mixture on 1 lb. chicken pieces. Throw on grill and cook for 6-7 min on med-high. I lightly stir fried the peppers and onions in olive oil, then once the veggies were cooked, I turned off stove and tossed the BBQed chicken with them.
Potato wedges were easy. Just salt, pepper, and potatoes cut in wedge/fry shapes. Tossed in olive oil. In oven 400 F for 30-35 min (tossed mid-way).
For the green olive tapenade:
1 1/4 cup pitted green Spanish olives
1-2 TBS capers (drained)
1 clove garlic minced
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 tsp lemon juice
First chop the garlic, olives, and capers in the food processor. Then while still processing, add lemon juice and olive oil progressively. Stop to desired texture. It should not be pureed, but rather in a more thick "chutney" type texture.
I used about 2 TBSP of the tapenade on my plate.
