Thanks a lot, thanks for stopping in.
I don't know. That's only 2 6 week cycles away. I guess I could do that, but I don't want to be maxing every 13/14 weeks. It'll stall my long term gains since every max is basically 2 weeks off of my program. My log http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=149523363

Just did an easy light day yesterday. I didn't expect to be so out of commission after those maxes. Squatting 225 wasn't "hard" but I was definitely much more drained afterward than I usually am.
Squat
225 x 5
225 x 5
Bench
170 x 5
170 x 5
170 x 5
Can't wait for Monday so I can get back to TM. Doing another light day this week, either Thursday or Friday. Taught a girl how to squat bench and Pendlay row. Strangely the row is the hardest thing for her to figure out. It took a bit of time for her to figure out the low bar squat; proper placement, and knees out seems to be a hard concept for her initially, but she's got the hang of it. Called it quits on the row until I can explain them to her better. Tomorrow I'll teach her OHP and DL. Pretty excited to be teaching people the program that got me started. My log http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=149523363

Decided to do a mini I-Day today. Nothing too crazy
Squat
335 x 3
3rd rep...
OHP
125 x 5
125 x 5
125 x 3
Was just feeling it out.
Deadlift
225 x 5
315 x 3
3 reps was enough. Back was definitely falling apart, even belted. Squats shouldn't be a problem on Monday, not looking forward to Friday's deads though. We shall see.My log http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=149523363

Thanks, doing my best personally and in training. I've been able to stay much more calm and not lose my mind like I did the first couple times I trained my dad. It's just so frustrating to know how to do something right, but not be able to express it in a way that is easily understandable to your trainee. Damn you, words.
Yeah when I trained my dad it took him a while to get the row too. I think a part of it is just that it's the last exercise and their hamstrings are undertrained and pretty spent by the time you get to it, so it gets hard to maintain position. I noticed it in both my dad and this girl, but when their hamstrings are tight and tired, they try to cheat by relaxing the hamms, which causes the lower back to round... intensely, which is why we called it quits and will come back to it on her next workout. We'll keep working on it! She did awesome squatting yesterday, had no trouble with the OHP, and only required a couple tweaks on Deadlift. For some reason, anybody certified or who thinks they know about fitness always tell people to pull the bar out and around their knees during deads. It was the weirdest thing seeing the bar move in a C path instead of just a vertical line, but we talked about it and it's purposes and she's pulling Vertically now. After only 2 workouts her form is miles ahead of where I thought she'd be. I'm very impressed with her. I hope all trainees pick it up as quickly, and are as easy to train. My log http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=149523363
