Number of strikes != outstriking. Aldo's strikes did damage, frankie's pitter patter did jack ****. Same reasons he lost both times to benson. Did Aldo even leave with a bruise on his body? LOL

not when those 15 strikes did alot more damage. Including that kick to the face that busted his nose. Not all strikes are scored equally. Aldo had 14 head strike's to Edgar's 8. Edgars pitter patter kicks don't make up for Aldo's power shots.

i haven't rewatched the 3rd round, but from the feel of the way frankie was turning it on aldo, he not only landed more strikes, but also had the control of the pace and aggression for much more of that round as well
