Last night, I was out picking up a couple things from a guy who was moving to Florida and had everything loaded. Walking out, I asked him how he liked his hyper bench and he said he never used it and would I be interested in that also. I asked about price and he said 'how does thirty dollars sound?'. I said 'let's put it on the truck.' When I got home, I looked up the bench online and found it was this one.

This morning I got an email from a guy asking about a piece I listed for sale on CL and he referenced some bodybuilding.com forum posts in an effort to lowball me, saying 'my research shows these usually sell for $XXX (less than half my asking price)' I just told him that if he finds this unit I am selling at his quoted price, grab it fast because if it is a great deal, it will be gone quick. Don't blame the guy for trying! Didn't want to tell him that I've already sold one of these pieces for just under my current asking price (but not half off!)

Hell yes, that's a good price. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better deal. As long as the welds are solid, you should have no issues.

Any thoughts on this set-up? I have a nice TDS rack so I don't need the bench, been looking for some gripper weights though. I offered to buy the weights separately, but it's a no-go. May be willing to buy the whole thing and try to flip if it's a decent deal.
