Man... I am sicker than a 1 eyed pelican today and I'm alone with baby.
And she's teething a premolar, so she's uncomfortable and not napping.
My fever was getting near 103 and the only meds in the house for fever was the baby tylenol. So I totally pinched some baby med. Wow... These baby med really work!
Dropped my temp down to 99.1 in like 10-15 minutes... Now I'm shivering cold.6'4"

Yeah I've slowly been taking the tylenol over the past months for minor sinus things. Then all of a sudden when I need it most I look and there's only 3 left!
My wife is stocking up as we speak on her way home.
Then I'm going to go downstairs, wrap myself in a blanket, cough my brains out for 4 hours and go to bed early!
I think I'm turning the corner now... Just have to hope the baby doesn't come down with it.6'4"

Every day I think I'm kicking the sinus thing and then every morning I'm clogged up with green goo again. Just hope I won't need to blow my nose every few minutes while hunting tomorrow. Unless I can make a sound that attracts deer.......

So it's a good thing I took the baby into the doc today.
2+ hours of testing... She fell asleep in my arms finally and I held her there for 45 minutes while we were waiting for the last one. Which I tell you holding a 21 pound sleeping baby in your arms for 45 minutes should be a scene in the training montage of Rocky IV.
Turns out she has a strain of influenza known for being harsh on children and the elderly. 5% hospitalization and 1% death rate!
It's too late to help me... I'll have to suffer through.
I'm supposed to be in a self-imposed quarantine from children and the elderly. (Other than the baby who already has it)
And she can't be around ANYONE who's even remotely sick for 2 weeks now that her immune system has been so beat up.6'4"

Crap, sorry to hear about that, Greenfeather. At least they'll fix your knee. Gotta live with my torn meniscus.
So I took my first ever shot at a deer today. Nailed it. Little button buck. Hope to get a bigger one tomorrow. The hardest part of a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.

Hunting alone this week, damn boat ramp has such a slow slope to it my truck exhaust is under water while launching.
Killed a medium sized Aoudad ram yesterday. Sure was fun dragging it back to the boat alone. I have a nice big wheeled aluminum game cart in my garage at home... yay.

Yeah just makes me nervous that it's longer than a quick launch because I don't have a driver.
Yeah so about the pics lol. While sstalking I ended up 1.25 miles from the boat and shed my backpack around 1/2 mile into it. Well my backpack had my phone and flashlights in it. So I'm 3/4 mile away from the pack and it's pretty much dark when I find the Aoudad. End up running through the canyon back to my pack with the little light I had left. Pulled the boat around and looked up a meat locker in the local town and call them up to see if they can hang it for me until I'm out of here in a couple days. They will but they're closing in a hurry so I went into scramble mode gutted it quickly and threw it in the boat and hauled ass to town, dropped it off and text me buddies. They're like cool, where's the pics numbnuts? Lol doh
