McCaffrey, Henry, and Ekeler were guys I was not willing to invest in at their ADP at all, mostly due to health and overuse concerns. I was actually seeking Kamara in the drafts that happened after it was clear his legal hearing wouldn't be until after the season, but I didn't get him anywhere. Most of my teams are struggling at RB but stocked at WR as a result. The team where my RB situation is best is the one where I hit big time on all of my mid round RB picks (Etienne, Stevenson, Pierce).

I thought Kamara wasn't going to get enough volume or scoring opportunities with Olave, Landry, MT, and Taysom around. Did end up with him in that Henry league though because I got him so cheap too.
Stevenson was my biggest mid round target this year. Getting him in the 7th-8th or for $6-8 in auction felt good. I wanted Pierce too but his hype was insane by the time my drafts started with him often going in the 4th-5th or for like $20 in auctions. Obviously was worth it now but back then it was hard spending that much on a 4th round rookie.

I whiffed on every RB choice I made this year. Took Lazard mid-draft though and have been relatively happy with that choice.
Also got Hurts later than I think he should have gone. No one seemed to want QBs in my draft. I'm usually one of the last to grab my QB but it eventually got to a point where the value seemed too good to wait."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I got Pierce in the 6th. I wasn't really targeting him because this was when the hype train was out of control (my draft the next day, he went in the 3rd!), but at 6, I was more than fine with it. This is how it went. My whole starting lineup now is original draft picks except Brandon Aiyuk and my kicker. I traded Zeke for Aiyuk:
Round Player
1 Jefferson, Justin
2 Kelce, Travis
3 Etienne, Travis
4 Elliott, Ezekiel
5 Mooney, Darnell
6 Pierce, Dameon
7 Bateman, Rashod
8 Stevenson, Rhamondre
9 Pickens, George
10 Lance, Trey
11 Bills
12 Dotson, Jahan
13 Tagovailoa, Tua
14 Chark, DJ
15 Collins, Nico
16 Hopkins, Dustin
This team is 8-1 now. Obviously, QBs went way too fast, so I did QB0 and thought Lance was a good value at 10 and Tua at 13. Obviously, Lance didn't work out, but Tua is a legit QB1 (as long as he's not mush brained), and I got Fields a couple weeks ago before he broke out on waivers, so I'm looking pretty good there. I overdrafted Mooney, who's been a monumental disappointment, but getting Aiyuk for Zeke solved that issue. The only people not still on my roster right now are Zeke (traded), Bateman (out), Lance (out), Dotson (hurt), Chark (sucks), Collins (sucks), and Hopkins (kicker, who cares).

Fields has been a season saver for those of us who drafted Russ, Brady, Rodgers, Stafford etc.
Really should reevaluate my draft strategy next year and grab a QB early to avoid this mess though. Hammering WR in rounds 4-7 is an overrated strategy even though that's what every analyst suggests you do.

I evaluate every draft in real time. I'm in three redraft leagues. In my money league, Allen was still available in the third, so I jumped on that. In my friends league, Allen, Mahomes, Herbert, and Lamar were drafted early, but Hurts was still there in the 5th (and I wanted to invest in the Eagles), so I thought that was a good spot for him. This league is my neighborhood league. Herbert and Mahomes were first round picks, and the QB ranks were depleted very early, so I just passed on it until the late rounds. I took Lance, who was touted as a possible breakout candidate at the time, three rounds after the previous QB taken because everyone else had a starter and wasn't drafting backups yet. It allowed me to get Zeke in the 4th with a 3rd round ADP, Pierce in the 6th when he was typically going in the 4th, and Stevenson in the 8th, which are looking like potential league-winning picks. I hit on one of my late round flyers and got lucky that someone had to drop Fields for bye weeks when he was struggling, so it worked itself out.

Had someone recently try to acquire Diontae Johnson from. I didn’t like what they were offering but was considering a counter offer of Johnson and Singletary for Fournette.
What’s the thought of Fournette at this point? Is he headed for a true split with White?
Bucs OLine hasn’t been good either so as bad as Diontae has been and mediocre as Singletary has been… is Fournette even worth it?

Currently have Dak but I'm not sold on him. I tried to pick up Fields but someone bid 20% of their FAAB to grab him so I'm stuck. I stashed Watson on my bench. Current pickup options are Brady, Mariota, Jimmy, Goff, and Cousins. Any of those worth playing this week over Dak?

I'm actually very curious what Watson looks like when he comes back. I've even considered throwing out trades where I offer up Hurts to someone hurting at QB to see what I could get where I would roll the dice that Watson is effective for myself.
I won't be shocked at all if he's a top 5 QB. I know it's been over a year but I refuse to believe he's just forgotten how to play. Even Vick came back after being in prison and was semi effective and that was with longer time away, more controversy, and coming back much older."One day I won't be able to lift any more. no one waivered watson. coulda got him as an FA. feels bad.
can someone rank moonshot RBs?
- Jaylen Warren
- Rachaad White
- Isiah Pacheco
- Kyren Williams
I have so many garbage RBs trying to find a somewhat competent RB2. I think I'm giving up on Pacheco. Kyren is a fun add for a week until he flops.

If you have space I'd grab Kyren. If nothing else he's the great unknown of that group. I know Pacheco does nothing with his role, I know Rachaad is completely dependent on a Fournette injury. I don't know what happens once Kyren gets moving with the Rams. he could take the job. they are not in love with Darrell or Akers.

Made a trade:
Sent: Dak Prescott, David Montgomery, Courtland Sutton
Received: Lamar Jackson, Robert Woods
.5 PPR, .2 points per carry
My team before trade:
QB: Dak Prescott
RB: Joe Mixon
RB: Kenneth Walker III
RB/WR: Dameon Pierce
WR: Justin Jefferson
WR: Mike Evans
TE: Tyler Higbee
D/ST: Titans this week, been streaming
K:Justin Tucker
Bench:
David Montgomery
James Robinson
Melvin Gordon
Khalil Herbert
Alexander Mattison
Courtland Sutton
He needed WR/RB help - Monty and Sutton aren't starters for me and I upgrade from Dak to Lamar Jackson at QB.
With Mixon and Jackson on BYE this week plan is to start K. Herbert and pick up Trevor Lawrence I think.
Will probably just drops Woods for Palmer/Claypool/Hardman. Who would you pick up tonstash in my empty spot, Elijah Mitchell or Kyren Williams?
Thoughts?Last edited by velociREPtor; 11-11-2022 at 09:50 AM.
