Gotta love the sight of a full freezer...hopefully I'll be able to fill mine with some bear and goose soon. Time to eat up all the fish first!
Nice bench work, for bench stuff I find a cue that helps with mindset a bit too is to think of shoving the bar violently, rather than pressing it. While maintaining technique of course.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Ok so the video did help but one thing you were misunderstanding is that I AM getting good sleep and eating less junk food and feeling good overall.
Regardless of that I completely agree and was just thinking today about setting the alarm earlier but I think more of the issue is the fear aspect and how that is making me extend breaks between sets My goal is to get the whole session in the mornings now and use the afternoon to get some light recovery work inThe Beast Journey to Elite

the point is, look at all the factors, write them down in your journal. This info becomes paramount when you face periods of training like this. Ebb and flow. When it flows, it is so easy, when it ebbs, you see what you are made of.

Important Notes
Canceling the Meet
So after another frustrating session, through talking to Wade I decided to skip this meet and reschedule. I have an email into the director to see if they will let me sign up for the next meet they host and transfer the fees and entry. Hopefully that will work out. Mindset is just not there for training, much less to compete. Wade then told me that we were going to do some different things. This was the first session of that, and I am not sure if it was just the fact that things are different but I enjoyed the session Hopefully we can build some momentum from this.
Session #1
12-2:00pm
I was off today. Trained a little later in the day. This was good so I could see if these sessions in general were gonna go longer or shorter than the standard training I had been doing.

I notice a difference when I'm training alone (or when Brian isn't around) vs. when I have Brian or his brother there.
Even maybe having Erica around might get your head in the game? I don't know.Proud member of Team Ogre

I am going to do a few things.
1) I am going to put a serious effort into finding a training partner.
2) If that doesn't work Wade and I have talked about possibly rearranging sessions a little so I could go squat at a PL place on the weekends occasionally
It does feel nice to like training againThe Beast Journey to Elite
