What I have for sale is a mint condition UNIVERSAL brand name gym shoulder press. I purchased this full sized shoulder press a few years ago, It is in mint condition. Those of you that are aware of how much genuine gym equipment cost know that this is a steal. There is an attached adjustable seat. This set uses a resistance leverage weight system that allows the weight to increase as you completely extend your arms. So for example, when the weight is set at the highest amount, you start your extension at 230lbs, as you extend your arms, the weight increases to 310lbs. The machine easily comes apart. I will gladly assist with taking apart this set and putting it in your vehicle.

Looks like a good deal. I'd pick it up too, except I'm not in Austin.

(I also have the 120lb kit, but I'd be tempted to get it anyway because with a spare kit, you can make a 100lb DB using only 4 plates, the handle, and the lock-screws.)

Used plates often sell for around 50 cents per pound. So that's $57.50 for the plates.

That means you're buying the bench for $117.50.

Seems like a fair deal for both you and the seller.

If its just the cage then that about all he will get for it. I think that's why he decided to barter it because he can't get the $150 he looking for. If you are looking to flip it then I'd pass but if you want it for you offer $100-125 for it.

You shouldn't have any trouble unloading the hexes for .50 cents/lb so you should be able to come out ahead 5 bucks. Unless the dumbbells are in really crappy condition.

what it is 'worth' and what a craigslist buyer will pay are often two different things. With the lat stack, it is worth a little more than the Parabody 888 (without stack) I sold for $700 but approx the same package. Still, it only takes one buyer! Good luck to your buddy.
