Catching Up on ZZZ's with ErgoZZZ

I went into a Ergogenix company promo thread and asked for a sample of ErgoZZZ since I am a fan of melatonin as a sleep aid. Some have reported a deeper sleep when supplementing with ZMA. Since Erogenix has both ingredients in ErgoZZZ, I was looking forward to a great night's sleep.

In a couple of days, I checked my mailbox and found this inside of it: ...a full bottle of ErgoZZZ. All Ergogenix rep Starkk asked for was a store review but I really appreciated him sending out a full bottle so I started this sponsored log.

I am a high anxiety person that has trouble falling asleep. My mind is racing at night and the melatonin should give me a drowsy feeling that will help me fall asleep faster.

I usually get up at least once during the night to use the restroom since I take in a lot of water. Looking for ZMA to give me a deeper sleep so that I do not wake up as frequently during the night. That is something I deal with since I sleep on my sides. One of my arms will fall asleep and wake me up.

Recently we got a new bed that has raises the feet and head so that I can try to learn to sleep on my back. Sleeping on my back in a flat bed hurt my low back and resulted in snoring. The lifting of the legs reduces back discomfort the raising of the head is supposed to reduce snoring.

There is a massage feature on the bed that turns off after 30 minutes but it is not one of those beds that allows for separate elevation settings for both people. We have to find a compromise between our elevations which does not lead to feeling perfectly comfortable.

I know that ZMA is not a natural test booster but I have always found zinc effective in giving a libido boost. A valuable aid for someone over 40 years old who trains year round.

You're welcome and thanks for the product. Another thing I have read around the forum is that you have vivid dreams while supplementing with ZMA before bed. I am a big dreamer so this should be interesting.

Lol this is going to be interesting, I know I've had my share. Along side the vivid dreams I've also gotten some of the best sleep from ErgoZzz.

Thanks for keeping a log! Im sure people will think Im biased, but ErgoZzz is def great for helping to get a good nights sleep! One of my fave products. Im looking forward to hearing what you think and the results you get!

Last night my wife would not let me go to sleep after my dose of ErgoZZZ. I was feeling drowsy from the melatonin but everytime I would close my eyes she would start talking about the show she was watching. The woman loves TV and was watching The 40 Year Old Virgin on TBS. I told her that we have the DVD and TV cuts out all the language which makes scenes like the waxing funnier. She finally turned off the TV but I was agitated because we could at least "doing" the best natural sleep aid there is. Took me a little while to relax and fell asleep shortly. Had some real crazy dreams throughout the night and had to make my one bathroom trip during the middle of the night. Woke up this morning a little groggy but shook it off after a while.

Sometimes taking a supplement with zinc in it, on an empty stomach, upsets my stomach or cause it too make some noise. Neither happened last night after my dose.

I did a legs and ab workout which will be followed by an active rest week of DDP Yoga. Been doing high volume workouts and feel runned down. My body needs a week of recovery.

5/18/15 - Sleep

Took 3 capsules of ErgoZZZ near bedtime. It seems to take about 15 minutes or so before ErgoZZZ kicks in for me. At that point I feel drowsy from the melatonin. Last night went a little better than the night before. I got her to turn the TV off 30 minutes earlier this time...of course with some complaining. After telling her that she is full of sugar & spice, I gradually drifted off to sleep. My dreams were stronger than normal. The ZMA must have really kicked in. She must have been cold last night because I either had her leg on top of me or I was getting bear hugged. This woke me up more than normal because it is not comfortable for me to have someone almost laying on top of me. I did wake up much less groggy and was ready for my day without feeling tired like usual.

When she tosses her leg up on me, that is what she is using me for. My college girlfriend would do this to me as well. She was a thicker woman so it was a more weight to have on you all night.

I had a body pillow at one time but my step-daughter took it with her when she moved out. Time to look into getting another one.

That's why I steer away from any sleep aides, I hate the groggy feeling. Good to hear it wasn't as bad the 2nd day.

You certainly can. At 3 caps you`re getting the standard ZMA plus 3mg of melatonin.
