I doubt it was a Blackhawk (anyone who’s served knows they call them crash hawks for a reason-hitting bird will literally bring you down) …but even in a chinook type large helicopter you aren’t as safe from the elements as a jet.

JUST IN: Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi is confirmed dead after rescuers reached the crash site.

Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian is also dead.

The discovery came after a long night of searching in freezing conditions.

Shortly before the discovery, Iranian Red Crescent Society head Pir-Hossein Kolivand said the situation was “not good.”

According to Reuters, the helicopter was completely burned in the crash.

The helicopter crashed due to GPS/GLONASS spoofing, resulting in the aircraft flying lower than what the instruments were reporting. The spoofers knew the terrain was mountainous and that the weather was foggy allowing for plausible deniability. This method was chosen as retaliation for the Iranians downing an American RQ-170 drone with the same GPS spoofing technique when Obama was president.

I made this up 100% and this should not be taken seriously.
